Stallion

Stallion is equally both charismatic and annoying. It's his confidence. It's overflowing. Always. He's very proud of who he is and loves to over-share about his achievements and personality bonuses. As the first Scales dragon in the lair, he felt even more extra-special to show off a gene that was an absolute rarity in this clan. He also found that he was one of few Ridgebacks in the clan, which made him feel more special. The rarer you are, the better you are, he often says.

He didn't particularly get along with the other Ridgebacks, but that didn't bother him, as he picked up a couple good friends in the clan pretty early on. He loves rivaling Ra, a Nature Bogsneak, in who has more pride. Although the two are often seen shouting at each other or body-checking each other in passing, the clan is certain they actually like each other. Much to the annoyance of Crowley, Stallion also became close acquaintances with Persephone, an Earth Pearlcatcher. Her primary allegiance is to her mate, but she has never been one that can put down single roots. Thus, she flirts with him relatively often. Islywn, a Plague Tundra, was often bothered by his obsession with himself, but he enjoyed listening to her passion for the Plaguebringer. He wouldn't consider himself religious, but something about her speeches fascinates him. But Stallion is most close with Wraith, a Plague Gaoler. He originally met her during one of Islwyn's speeches, when she was still a Wildclaw. She was sitting in support of her clan-mate since she is one of the few other Plague dragons in the clan. For some reason the two of them got along immediately. That just happens sometimes. Their personalities meshed well and they enjoyed the others' company.

Now Stallion is not just all talk. He also has a skill of his own. He is a sculptor. You probably wouldn't guess that just by looking at him. And in truth, he used to keep this skill hidden a bit, worried that others would make fun of him. But by the time he was a teenager and someone actually made fun of him for it, it only made him prouder and bolder. From then on, he has not kept it a secret. If anyone tries to knock him down for it, he simply laughs and pokes at the fact that they are likely talent-less and can't appreciate art.

One day, a relative newcomer to their clan--Mazikeen, a Light Skydancer--approached him in a very flirtatious and attractive way. Although he'd never felt a real connection to anyone in the clan in that way before, he couldn't shake himself from her. He loved her wild spirit. They bred together only for him to find out that she wasn't in the least interested in him--only eager to upset her true mate, Azeban, a Light Tundra. He was familiar with that Tundra, who lived in the same region, and was furious that he was simply used. When she later requested that he keep the whole thing quiet and act like they didn't know each other, he loudly refused. Whenever they're near, he shouts about what happened and does anything he can to get in her face. He perhaps will never get over what happened, and feels very bitterly towards her.

On a small bright side, however, their youngest son in the clutch--Hawkins--decided to remain in the clan. He loves his son, as does his fake mate. So although there's a lot of tension in their "family", at least they all got one great thing out of it. His son spends a lot of time with him as they actually are very similar to each other. He also maintains a respectful acquaintance with Azeban.
