Biography
Yojimbo was once emperor Shiro’s royal guard, he sworn a life oath to serve his emperor until his death. A gift was sent to emperor Shiro from the kingdom of Yizhou as a peace offering to end the war between their two kingdoms. One of the servants opened the gift to reveal a beautifully crafted steel sword. The servant went to hand the sword to the emperor, but his face turned to malice as he swung the sword to strike the emperor down. Yojimbo jumped in font of emperor Shiro taking the strike instead, and then his world went black.

When Yojimbo awoke, he discovered he was no longer in emperor Shiro’s palace, but in a Yizhou graveyard. Yojimbo felt malice surround him; he looked to his side to see the once beautifully crafted steel sword bound to him, turned dark with spite. Yojimbo set out to find out what happened to him, return to emperor Shiro’s palace, and how to vanquish this cursed sword.
