 Where Rossё is bathed in light, Nárë is cloaked in shadow. It seared her eyes and drove her to the darkness even as she was shaking shards of eggshell from her scales. The inky blackness of her scales stood out like a sore thumb in the dazzling expanses of the Sunbeam Ruins, but the shadow enveloped her, made her invisible. She learned quickly how to use the shade to remain hidden, and made a game of following prey animals as closely as she could before she was noticed.

Quickly the shadow became her haven. The creatures of the night do not frighten her, for she is one of them. She can follow dragons for miles unseen, disguised in the darkness of the night and thicket. She knows what things dragons will tell the silence, when they think there is no one there to hear them. She
