Biography

Tinker hatched in a shadow clan having loving parents and siblings with who she came along. She though had inherit seriousness of an ice dragon from her mother and didn’t feel home in a clan full of tricksters. She left at the young age wanting to find a clan that wouldn't be so childish choosing to walk towards the plague domain having her father be from there. She walked through it but not feeling well in the sickening air she kept going eventually reaching the arcane domain and walked to the Starwood.

Somehow Tinker hadn't encountered a single dragon on her way probably having something to do with the fact that she traveled during night. After the darkness of the wasteland the brightness of the Starwood Strand felt almost blinding and after finally getting used to the light she noticed having walked off the trail. She was large enough to not have that bother her and slightly annoyed kept going hoping to find another trail ahead. She didn’t find a trail but instead she found a small clan that had clearly just recently moved in the wood.

The clan noticed her dark appearance from the bright and short vegetation Tinker noticing them looking at each other like not knowing who should welcome her in. The clan seemed to have its claws full of work and she was not sure if she should bother them though she felt like needing a long rest. Eventually a pearlcatcher, who introduced herself as Karmiini, stepped up and offered to make Tinker a nest to rest in while the clan continued what they had been doing. She got something to eat from a rather small hoard and got to sleep as the Sun rose with the rest of the clan doing the same.

The following afternoon Tinker thought she heard some arguing but upon lifting her head she saw no one fighting but she saw few soft-pedaling each others giving her nervous glances. Tinker smelled something suspicious and decided to stay in the clan a little longer. Later at the evening, soon after another visitor arrived, Tinker was keeping an eye on the clan and upon witnessing a battle, which the parties tried to hide, at the Hoard she noticed something major: the clan had no leader or order for that matter. Everyone did what they pleased most of the time giving their jobs for someone else to do leading to a lot of fighting.

In Tinker’s eyes the clan was an utter chaos and she hated it. She went to talk with Morgana, who seemed to try keep some kind of order in there, about who had left the clan in that state. The guardian told that the clan had no clear leader, never had, the ”previous” one having taken the job because the founders didn’t bother before stepping down having been unsuited for the job. She had tried to maintain order but the irresponsible residents wouldn’t listen to her at all. Tinker agreed that the residents, and the clan in general, needed someone to show all those dead-beats their place.

Morgana named the most irresponsible dragons in the clan, all of them except Karmiini though Tinker was able to filter few more out, and after that she got to work. The Hoard needed to be organized and Tinker ordered the closest dragons to do that, it also needed to be filled and she named few dragons to go do that. The residents were confused by sudden turn of events and did what Tinker told them to do. That being taken care of she decided to go meet few dragons that Morgana had told to be the root source for all the chaos.

Tinker found Alfa lying near a small hole fitting for a fae. He sat up as Tinker came to him asking if he was the founder-father like Morgana had claimed and he said "yes". She asked, rhetorically, if he had lead the clan proudly which he denied having done confused by the situation nor had he named anyone to take the leadership either. Having made the mirror aware of the issue she reproached him about how his irresponsibility had lead the clan for becoming an absolute mess where everyone did what they pleased or were on others’ toes. She felt good when the older dragon turned his eyes to the ground.

Tinker heard someone trying to crawl out of the hole and not letting the other one escape she scooped a fae out. The small dragon, Nemo, being an unbearable embodiment of irresponsibility panicked in her claws but Tinker didn’t pay mind to that. She asked what her excuse was for not taking charge she telling never wanting to start a clan in a first place. For Tinker that told how spineless Nemo was, not taking responsibility of something she had created, willingly or unwillingly. She let the fae go turning her back as she flew to the wood walking away ordering all the witnesses back to work she had given to them.

After that Tinker decided to stay in the clan and with Morgana started to maintain order in there with Alfa trying to redeem his place as the founder. Tinker was skeptical about him believing he tried to brush off the recent event so he could return to laze off but was less direct about that unlike Morgana who made her belief very clear. His son Skye started to flirt with her and though she found it very annoying she didn’t blame Alfa for trying to seduce her into giving up the leadership he seemed to want. She felt it was someone else’s doing.

Alfa started to gain some recognition after Benizakura, his adopted son and one of the oldest dragons, forgave him after having been very harsh towards him. He was among the first ones to do that which Tinker found very odd he having been mad for what Alfa had done, or rather what he had not. She felt something was off and it didn’t get any better when she one evening sensed someone casting mind altering spells on residents. She took look at papers Benizakura, who had taken job of chronicler, had written to see if the clan had history with mages but there were none the clan being so young. She though noticed Benizakura having noticed someone having tampered with his memories to make him forgive Alfa. That scared Tinker as he was a light dragon and should be near immune to mind altering.

She thought about that for some time until she remembered the fae that had flied away when she had taken the lead. She had not seen her since but she felt she had something to do with Alfa’s rising status and how everyone in the clan seemed to have very blurry memory about the small dragon. She felt like the two founders had a plan to have her be overthrown and she started to keep an eye on everything in where a fae could hide so she could catch her hopefully without either of them noticing she knew about their plan. She avoided accusing Alfa directly not wanting to be caught too early but also not wanting to look like threatening the mirror. His guardian Obsidius though not the brightest was a battle veteran and she did not want to meet him defending his charge.

One evening Tinker was taking a look at the loot Alfa and Obsidius had brought to the clan after having sent gathering groups to wind domain. Tinker did not like how Alfa and his guardian left the lair without a word seeing that the perfect moment for him to meet the fae but let them do that seeing the loot potentially useful and wanted to seem as oblivious as possible. The items seemed like having actually been stolen from the beastclans they having scent of blood on them which meant they were not trying to get the beasts to help them in their plan.

Sudden unrest snapped Tinker out of her thoughts and upon taking a look she noticed an unfamiliar dragon wearing the Observatory attire. She knew they were an important guest and wanted to go meet them but Alfa was faster and wanting to avoid fighting in front of them she stayed where she was cleaning the stuff. She kept an eye on them though being ready to step in if Alfa claimed to be in charge as she did more work than he did. They though seemed to be looking for someone with Morgana spying them nearby and Tinker decided to turn her attention to the trees not liking how the leaves blocked the branches. Before long Morgana came to tell what the guest had wanted and told they had taken Nova. The fae didn’t do much for the clan but he was very dedicated to study whatever it was and she had let him skip gatherings because of that.

Nova returned few nights later wearing an emblem on his forehead meaning he had been nominated to be clan’s arcane ambassador. The clan was excited to say the least and Morgana had an idea of building an observatory for the small dragon with rest of the clan agreeing. They held a small conference in where they shared the roles Tinker and Morgana taking the charge while Alfa and Obsidius got the materials Tinker not liking that but he was the most diplomatic dragon in the clan willing to do the job.

The observatory was ready in no time. During the process Tinker though had had to deal with a lot of dragons who did not like her lead most of them being somehow related to Alfa. Them being rude was nothing new but they started to act very nervous soon after the process was over making Tinker suspicious. Things didn’t get any better after Abele found weapons and poisons hidden inside trees. Scared of a takeover Tinker called a conference to figure out what was going on giving a nervous looks to Alfa. It didn’t took long until Witchi appeared and told that there was a revolution being planned and named the dragons being part of it both founders being absent from the list.

Tinker started immediately demand answers from the accused they denying all Witchi had said. Morgana joined her and so did Alfa which Tinker felt being an act. Eventually one of the accused charged towards her with others joining. Tinker was able to deal with them the guardians knocking out the ones not targeting her. Nervous Tinker demanded them to be tied and a public trial against them to be held as soon as they woke up holding her tongue to not accuse Alfa who seemed confused next to battle ready Obsidius.

The trial started and Tinker being sure Alfa had something to do with the attempt gave him cold glances while demanding answers from his captured relatives he answering to her glances with denying eyes. His daughter Fea knew a lot about the accused dragons and Skye blamed her for being part of them. She did not deny having been that once and Tinker actually agreed with Skye when he suggested she’d be captured as well but stayed silent feeling agreeing with him publicly would make her look stupid. Besides, Karmiini who had been the one keeping order during the trial and giving the best suggestions thought she was fine being free and Tinker trusted her.

Eventually the clan decided to send the revolutionary ones to the Observatory to do the most dangerous works available. Alfa was willing to escort them there but Tinker fearing he might use that to ambush them denied that and Morgana took that job instead. She left with Nova and the guilty as soon as possible Tinker taking the opportunity to go talk with Witchi who had revealed them. She thanked the fae and asked why she had done that. The small dragon told she did not like secrets and she also thought Tinker was doing the right thing. Tinker rarely heard praise and though she was grateful she was a bit too nervous to show that. Feeling the situation be a bit awkward she left feeling like needing to keep an eye on Alfa.

Tension was very high in the clan following the trial Tinker feeling both slightly unsafe and annoyed by Morgana’s strong demands to look her back. Tinker’s nights were full of work with her needing to keep the tense clan in order and visit the eggs she had with Skye. One night, when she was waiting foraging group with Morgana patrolling Alfa approached her alone. With no one around she decided to ask why he followed the wicked fae controlling others from shadows being sure that was the case but also believed Alfa had enough sense to talk about it. He seemed to be confused by the question until he eventually told he had not interacted with Nemo since Tinker had come. Tinker didn’t buy that and was annoyed when Alfa acted like he didn’t notice that.

Foraging group arrived dropping their loot and Tinker went to check what they had found asking why Alfa had come to meet her. Alfa asked Karmiini to join them from the group which made Tinker a little curious. The mirror explained that he had noticed her skills during the trial which Tinker had also noticed. He suggested they’d name her as clan’s judge and chairdragon. She was pleased by the situation as it showed that Alfa saw her as the one with authority even though he had tried to get piece of that too. She turned to Karmiini and asked what she thought about that and with all three of them agreeing it was made official.

Tinker remained skeptical about Alfa despite his genuine act and Morgana remained tense despite the atmosphere getting calmer. Morgana was a guardian and Tinker knew about their charges which Morgana seemed to lack yet she seemed to have something she wanted to protect despite constantly denying it. Having had enough of her overprotectiveness she talked with Morgana alone she seeming very unwilling to talk about her charge. She said she had none but she was not able to deny when Tinker asked if she was her charge. They agreed that that would be their relationship from now on Tinker being happy to have someone to protect her if her and Alfa’s fight over status got so out of hand he sent Obsidius to deal with her.

Small pile of purple petals.

Life was peaceful but Tinker was constantly feeling unsafe. A young tundra turned into a mirror Silence felt very unnatural being like born to kill and even seemed to learn skills without practicing. She had hatched not long before the first trial and Tinker couldn’t help the feeling that she was meant to act as part of the group. Not liking the feeling of being paranoid she asked if Witchi knew if Nemo had something to do with her skills and was rather annoyed when she said she knew nothing which Tinker knew was a lie.

Later Nova brought news from the Observatory that the clan was asked to move to the Focal Point and soon after that the whole clan started to see dreams about a wood hidden in there. Tinker was certain those dreams were Nemo’s doing and not wanting her to control the clan the way she did opposed the idea of the clan moving into the wood. Nemo though had managed to brainwash the entire clan and only Tinker and Morgana were openly against the idea and lost the voting.

Not liking to lose to Nemo with her cheep tactics Tinker was on a bad mood and struggled to keep that hidden from Alfa who took the control of the move operation. Tinker checked what it was like soon after having the place be marked but refused to move in there until the old lair was completely empty. After that she took her status as the domestic leader from Alfa who seemed to be in good mood having been temporally the one in charge. She found it a bit odd that he didn’t oppose it but assumed it having something to do with him wanting to go and find a professional blacksmith for them from the fire domain. She agreed they needed one and let him go seeing his absent as opportunity to get the clan organized without fights with him.

While getting the clan organized Witchi, who Tinker had let skip the move process, came to meet her. She verified that Nemo was in fact behind most of the stuff going on in the clan and said that Alfa was not part of her plans. Tinker wanted to trust the fae that might had prevented a serious tragedy in a clan but she was sure that she had studied with Nemo as she had learned to teleport without Tinker seeing her study. She though decided to try show some respect towards the mirror in case of Witchi told the truth.

While waiting Alfa to return Tinker started to think the state of the clan and realized that they didn’t have a name. Once Alfa and Obsidius arrived with the new blacksmith she asked to talk with Alfa and told that they needed a name. Alfa agreed but was, unsurprisingly, tired to think about it then and there and suggested they’d talk about it the following night with the rest of the clan as they made their plans for the smithy project. Tinker understood and started preparations. The following night the clan had a voting for the name neither Alfa nor Tinker having suggestions. Tinker had fun watching the three dragons fight over the names and found herself wondering the lack of any noise from Morgana when Breeze’s suggestion ”Polar Sky” ended up being picked taking count how she hated the spiral.

Things were peaceful in newly named clan and Tinker slowly started to trust Alfa though she became more reserved when he had two eggs their mother clearly being Nemo. He clearly had some problems with them, mainly Julius who had habit of wandering off and getting lost and not listen which reminded Tinker a bit of Alfa when she had arrived first. She though didn’t leave him alone with him and did bring him back home if she happened to find the boy. Alfa clearly tried and Karmiini had expressed her wish of seeing them working as co-leaders and not as rivals.

Sometime later the clan had started to build an inn when Rosalin came to meet her and Alfa talking about a building she had designed with Pernis and Gneiss. She had designed the inn and now had something bigger in mind: a huge temple. Tinker and Alfa both thought it was too much for their still rather small clan Tinker refusing to let it be build even after Alfa gave in. He accepted the temple but only if rest of the clan did that too and so Tinker organized a conference to talk about the project. The clan liked the idea but they wanted it to be smaller which they ended up doing. Tinker had no issues with a small temple and took a charge of its building process Alfa acting as a worker and material gatherer.

They had barely started when things around Alfa got crazy starting with his daughter Siren being attacked by Talonoks and getting lost. Alfa dropped from the project to find his daughter and Tinker helped to organize search parties even joining them herself. They didn’t find any traces of Siren other than the gems found near brown and black feathers but they kept looking Alfa wanting to find her dead or alive. Due to the event the residents were not allowed to go out of lair alone but still while looking for Siren Tinker found Julius and dragged him to his father.

Alfa was near the center of the lair keeping his eyes to the east sky when Tinker came to him and after a short conversation he asked her to punish Julius for breaking the rules. Tinker dragged him where he was usually in arrest trapped in a spell circle wondering why Alfa kept looking to the sky. She assumed it was because of lack of sleep but Azul told that Midnight had been able to see a vision of Siren’s location and Obsidius had gone to see if he could find her. Tinker didn’t believe snapper’s stories but also hoped that she had actually found the fae.

Waiting for Obsidius’ return to see how they’d continue Tinker took the opportunity to rest which Alfa had not been doing having gotten very tired and stressed because of that. She eventually heard strong wings approaching and knowing Obsidius was coming back she got up and walked to the lair center. Obsidius landed with unharmed Siren with him and Tinker listened as she told what had happened. Sensing Alfa’s tiredness she asked him to go to rest offering to take care of Siren. He had no strength to fight back and Obsidius followed him as he made his way to his nest Tinker asking Obsidius to make sure the mirror actually rested.

After getting Siren to the healer Tinker took the rest the fuss waking her up way too early. She wondered why no one had woken her up sooner and as she got up she heard dragons talking about someone having attacked Tropi, Julius’ sister. The details were still unclear for Tinker when Morgana came to tell that Julius had escaped and Alfa not in his nest she made her way to the healing offices where she saw the tired mirror. She told that Julius had escaped before he could say anything and tired he told that they should no longer waste their energy with him. Tinker turned her eyes to Tropi who had been turned from fae to nocturne and promised to organize some search groups to find who did that while she ordered Alfa back to rest.

Tinker was not sure who had done that to Tropi but she had sensed it having been dragon magic and wondered if it was Nemo’s doing. It didn’t make much sense as she was her daughter and it caused a lot of stress to Alfa but she kept casting spells on the residents to prevent them from thinking about her so that was totally possible. Few nights later Julius returned with a pack of centaurs and Tinker expected Alfa to deal with the tense situation because it was his son and he wanted to act as clan’s diplomatic leader. While he was talking with their guests Tinker sensed someone using telepathy with him and she knew Nemo had something to do with all of that.

The centaurs prepared to leave with gifts Alfa had offered for them for finding his son, something Tinker didn’t like. She walked closer wanting to ask if letting them go was a good idea when he asked her to organize party to spy on them. She didn’t need to be asked twice. The centaurs didn’t seem to threaten the clan and Tinker returned the lair wanting to talk with Alfa but she only found Obsidius guarding Julius' new prison made out of strong magic. Alfa returned later having been hunting but he was on a very bad mood and Tinker assumed that was because he had realized who had caused him all that stress. Him being mad for Nemo was enough for Tinker to tell that he was not with the fae and let him be. He cared about the clan and his children and Tinker respected that and wanted to help him by capturing the origin of all the unfortunate events.

Small pile of purple petals.

Tinker did not like what Nemo was doing in the shadows and tried to capture the old fae but despite having upper hand when it came to hiding in shadows she was not able to find her. Later Skeleton was turned into a walking pile of bones and though Tinker wanted to believe it was Nemo’s doing taking count how the tundra had treated faes but clan’s nature ambassador and devoted plague hater Glade just sounded more likely. Malla’s transformation from spiral to guardian though was clearly Nemo’s doing and Tinker was getting annoyed by Alfa’s lack of interest to capture the wicked fae. She was also extremely annoyed when imperial brothers decided to steal clan’s money and Tinker had to deal with them when she was trying to catch a bigger threat.

She also wasn’t in a mood to deal with Shadow and Sapny who were trying to summon the Shade out of all things and their failed experiment allowed Nemo to hit Finlande and turn her from guardian to a skydancer. Tinker was getting sick of Nemo’s games and struggled to stay quiet when she eventually caught her. She was shadow walking meaning Nemo couldn’t see her and she took the opportunity to stun her with her tail.

She made it very clear that she did not approve anything a coward like she had done terrorizing the clan’s residents with her breed change games. Nemo denied the latest one which Tinker was sure was a lie and attempted to bring the small dragon to the court so she could be punished. Nemo clearly didn’t want that and started to explain how much good her spells had done for the clan in long run including making clan’s defense stronger and many others she didn’t know about. Though as shadow dragon Tinker should have been able to smell truth she struggled to tell if Nemo was lying. After thinking about what the fae had said she decided to gamble and let Nemo go but swore that it would not happen again if she ever caused any harm to anyone.

Tinker soon regretted having listened Nemo wondering if the mage had somehow gotten into her head. Barely a month later Nemo kidnapped Milla, turned her into monster and sent her to attack Julius. Having already once managed to capture the fae Tinker tried that again with a help from Witchi but because she also told Nemo stuff she wasn’t able to succeed despite being very close. Tinker was very disappointed with herself and also very annoyed with everything that didn’t go as she wanted due to being tired of looking for the fly. She had hard time keeping her cool when Blacksnake wanting to battle with Alfa over his status dismissed her entirely. She was curious to see how the old mirror would tackle the situation and was intrigued when he accepted the challenge followed by admiration and a bit of fear when the young ridgeback had a crushing defeat.

Blacksnake later lost his nose in battle against Obsidius which Tinker saw only partly. She saw how the guardian didn’t take the ridgaback seriously at all still knocking him out with no issues despite the hits he took but didn’t seem to notice. Few weeks later when checking what gathering groups had found a voice of battle caught Tinker’s attention and she rushed to see what was going on with Morgana. They found Obsidius fighting with Glade with Alfa lying nearby being slowly taken over by plants. Seeing usually so jolly Obsidius so fierce scared Tinker and she asked Morgana to stop the males before she dared to go front Glade having first ordered nearest dragons to take Alfa away.

Obsidius left as soon as Tinker stepped in so only source was Glade who was not in a good mood. He refused to tell what had happened saying it was not her business but she being a co-leader with Alfa disagreed attacking one of them being most certainly other’s business too. Nearby dragons explained that Glade had captured Breeze, a plague dragon, and Glade had attacked Alfa when he had come to free the spiral. Tinker was annoyed as though Glade was an ambassador and thus free from being punished he was not above the leaders which he seemed to think. He even had nerve to call her ”the organizer” pointing out that it was not her job to deal with ambassadors which indeed was not her job, it was Alfa’s. She couldn’t do anything at the moment but made sure that if Alfa was wounded too badly she was forced to take his job and the imperial would not want that.

Alfa survived but disappeared soon after Obsidius staying in the clan not telling anything for her. He seemed nervous more that disappointed or angry and Tinker assumed he knew where the mirror was. The plague ambassador Tahna was also gone and Tinker assumed it had something to do with Alfa. It seemed like diplomatic stuff and Tinker didn’t want to bother herself with that but she was still annoyed by the lack of communication. Alfa eventually returned and told they had told about Glade to the Behemoth hoping they could help them and Tinker too wished they could do something with the toxic imperial.

A messenger arrived from the nature’s ancient lair few nights later and judging by Glade’s reaction to it it was not a pleasant message, for him. Still, few evenings later Tahna doing ranger job came home slightly wounded telling Glade had attacked him and was now trapped in there waiting to be brought in. That though didn’t interest Tinker as when Tahna came to the lair he was carrying a small unconscious dragon in his arms who he brought to the healers. Tinker had hard time to not jump due to joy when the dragon in question was none other than Nemo. She got a cage she had bought sometime after the last time and went to wait for her awakening.

The fae eventually woke up and Tinker greeted her. She asked if she had taken too big of a bite before picking her up and throwing into the cage not caring about the answer or if the fae hurt herself. She placed the cage near the trial area for everyone to see and was happy to see Alfa turn his head to the pleading fae. Enjoying to see how miserable Nemo was in the cage Tinker didn’t rush with the trial actually asking it to be delayed a little bit.

When the trial finally started Tinker took the pleasure to read Nemo’s crimes out loud taking notice of Alfa’s unwillingness to punish the dragon that had caused him so much harm. Nemo still denying being the one behind Finlande’s transformation but admitted being the one to turn Skeleton into one which Tinker truly found a bit surprising. She also decided to ask Nemo about the ”love” her son Skye seemed to feel towards her but before the fae could reply Breeze told that he was the reason Skye had kept bothering Tinker. That made sense as Nemo would have picked someone who was more charming if her goal was to seduce her.

After a long list of crimes the clan got to thinking about the punishment for the wicked fae. Tinker wanted to see her be sent as far to the south as possible frozen in time to think her actions but the clan didn’t agree with her. Eventually Trooper asked to talk and Karmiini let him speak even though Tinker was not willing to let that happen him being Nemo’s son. The fae explained the defense plan he and Atlantic had been building for the clan it involving what he called ”defense sectors” that would host one or more dragon who would defend the clan from threats coming through and he wanted Nemo to be one of those, maybe trapped in there with runestones.

Tinker didn’t like the idea feeling like it gave Nemo chance of enchanting trespasser to attack them. She though was outvoted and Nemo got to stay too close Tinker wanting to blame Nemo for getting through cage’s protective spells though she didn’t seem to like the outcome either. Tinker asked Trooper about details before getting to work wanting to make sure Nemo had no way of getting out of the sector or affecting the clan life any way. She was a bit surprised to see Alfa help with the project but not at all when he was nowhere to be seen when Nemo was finally brought to the sector. She trapped in there Tinker wished she could stop stressing about someone manipulating residents and went to rest.

Small pile of purple petals.

Tinker winced awake from her sleep being very sure she had felt someone casting some kind of mind altering spell. She wanted to believe it had just been her imagination but felt unsafe and decided to check if Nemo was still where she was supposed to be. Upon arriving however she saw one of the runestones broken and she immediately knew that Nemo had escaped. She tried to track her down but couldn’t find any traces so she turned to ask the residents, all of them.

To her shock no one seemed to remember Nemo at all, no Morgana, no Witchi, not even Alfa. From dragons having been in lair only Benizakura knew who she was and rest of who knew had not been in the lair when the spell had been cast. Almost entire clan under the fae’s spell Tinker didn’t feel safe at all and fearing for Nemo’s revenge couldn’t focus on her duty ending up fighting with Morgana because of that. Wanting to find the fae she left her job for time being and let Morgana do her work as she was not able to do that.

Tinker tried to find any traces of the mage be that fresh magic on residents or something easier to find like her guardian familiar that was also gone. With the residents’ memory altered and two dragons dying soon after Tinker was sure Nemo had cursed the clan even though Witchi having realized the memory tampering didn’t believe that being the case. Tinker though was unwilling to trust her as she had studied with Nemo and had let two catastrophes happen by not having been careful. Being on bad mood Tinker told Witchi to get better or start doing chores as she did not seem to benefit from letting her dig up secrets anymore.

Witchi having managed to defeat the memory altering spell Tinker was slightly optimistic that others could do that too and kept asking others if they remembered anything of Nemo. After Nobu’s death Alfa was able to remember the fae but was sure she had not cursed the clan. Tinker on the other hand was sure she had cursed them not finding any other reason for the event that killed total of three dragon, including their battle strategist and border guard, as well as almost their judge. However, after both Fea and Karmiini told that Nobu had been beyond twisted before Tinker arrived, meaning Nemo had not started her games yet, Tinker started to calm a little bit hoping Nemo was gone for good.

Months passed by with no trace of Nemo anywhere until one night a herb collecting group rushed into the lair nearing the morning with one of the being badly hurt. Tinker though barely noticed that having her eyes clued to a dark fae among paler ones struggling to not hit Nemo asking how she dared to show her face in there. She didn’t really care about her excuses and reminded everyone of what she had done before she ran away noticing that others seemed to remember her now that she was there.

Tinker felt Obsidius’ shout and after noticing him being ready to have a play brawl she shut up as Alfa starting to asking questions from Nemo. She claimed having not thought about returning to the lair but the event had lead her there which Tinker didn’t believe being sure she wanted to brainwash the clan to take control again falling silent as Obsidius took a step towards her. Ayla, a shadow dragon too young to know Nemo, arrived and was surprised to see Nemo having seemingly met her before. That made Tinker nervous as she was clan’s shadow ambassador as well as magic merchant and was way too interested in Nemo’s skills. If they got too close Nemo could use her to mess with Tinker she being also shadow dragon they having authority over each other because of their statuses.

The clan fell silent and Alfa asked what Nemo was going to do Tinker wanting to have her sent to the Fortress of Ends now that the clan had an ice ambassador. She said she was going to stay what Tinker did not allow at all wanting her to be petrified any way possible. She didn’t understood how she had nerve to ask the spot as border guard after having once escaped from the exact same job. She was rather disappointed when Kronk, the said ambassador, asked why they didn’t accept Nemo’s offer. To add salt to her wound Julius’ arrow missed the fae due to Tahna which would have solved the situation and Karmiini out of all dragons allowed Nemo to stay. Tinker had never disagreed with the judge more but hold her tongue not wanting to ignite a fight the clan being very divided by the decision.

Tinker was very bitter after the mini-conference. The clan had avoided maybe total four death thanks to the fae but that wasn’t enough for Tinker to justify her stay in the clan. Her bracelets that were originally meant to keep her trapped were changed to reveal the fae’s location instead meaning nothing prevented her from sneaking into the main lair and cast spells as she pleased. Alfa’s opinion about the situation was unclear though Tinker was sure he was pleased. Meanwhile Witchi was a big disappointment for Tinker the Gossip Queen asking Nemo to teach her some spells and even spreading lies to make the clan accept her back faster. Tinker not being able to do much decided to keep an eye on the faes and used the ability to track down the mage to make sure she stayed where she was supposed to.

Life was oddly peaceful in the lair and Tinker assumed it was calm before a storm. Things were going on greatly Nova finding a new constellation, clan finding ruins in the wood Tinker assuming them to be Nemo's original home, Rosalin having a new temple project and the clan changing its name to reflect both of them. However first signs of the storm arrived right after the conference ended when otherworldly creatures arrived to the lair. The creatures weren't that bad but clan's familiars started to act hostile very soon after that the clan blaming the creatures while Tinker was sure it was Nemo's doing the creatures being just the smoke screen, and when the spirits in the wood started to act hostile too Tinker saw too many parallels to Nemo's past tricks.

With both familiars and spirits acting hostile Tinker was very annoyed while Alfa nor Obsidius cared to do anything to solve the situation. The two were working with the temple and were resting because of that but Tinker thought they should have visited Nemo to get the situation solved the founders being in terms with each other, at least Tinker assumed they were. Things though kept getting worse a plague dragon arriving to the clan they radiating the aura that made Tinker greet them, because Alfa was resting. She told them to be one of the leaders when they asked about that and cursed Nemo in her mind when the visitor told that Silence had attacked one of them.

Tinker had no experience nor interest to deal with that and she took the visitor to Alfa trying to keep her cool when approaching the sleeping mirror. He didn't seem to take the visitor seriously as they approached just asking Tinker what the matter was. However, when Tinker told about Silence he lifted his head and asked Azul to bring Tahna there Tinker leaving the two try solve the mess. While they were doing that she had to deal with rumors about Nemo having vanished, which made her all the more guilty in Tinker's eyes, and Witchi going missing which had never been a good sign.

The atmosphere was tense in the lair and not even solving of the plague clan situation made it better. Tinker was very frustrated with the situation she being sure Nemo was behind all of this and during the annual House Cup she came to conclusion that they had to find the fae, turn her current sector upside down if needed, and make her fix the mess or at least explain it. With her Tinker took Morgana, Alfa and Obsidius and the group stepped to the wood in order to find the fly. The search didn’t go as planned, the group ended up being ambushed by Shadow, Sapny, Glade and Megabrain who revealed to be behind the recent incidents. Their plan was to summon the Shade and after Nemo released the leaders they rushed to stop the upcoming catastrophe.

The threat was bigger than what the leaders had ever expected to encounter and there was not much they could do as is. They were forced to get help from outside sources Nemo getting them some from the south, Alfa got them some from nature with help from Sisi and Tinker got them some help from Cloudsong. Even with all the help the leaders were able to get the clan suffered a lot as they tried to prevent the catastrophe. Nemo lost her life and Alfa got so hurt he had to retire for time being. Tinker understood that and bothered Julius with Alfa's jobs while also starting to work with Benizakura and Itameri to see if they could avoid events like that in the future. Months later Alfa was finally able to take his job back and the two returned to their familiar power dynamic.

Life was peaceful after the summoning incident excluding few incidents one being an assassin sneaking into the clan they being taken care of before Tinker even knew about them. Silence had killed them before they had managed to hear who had hired them but both leaders had feeling it was either the Shade mages or Glade the imperial sounding more likely. The incident made clan nervous and they all expected the next move.

Weeks passed by after the assassin was killed Puolanka having figured out that the one hiring the assassin had been an imperial that proving Tinker right about Glade. While the clan waited for his next move, since no one except Yannis wanted to hunt him down, Tinker lived her life like everything was normal. During that time she met with Pahatar, a young wildclaw with minor magic allergy. Their first encounter was nothing special Tinker just assigning her to hunting group ignoring how offended the wildclaw seemed by the assignment.

Tinker had assigned gathering groups for years already and she knew there were always at least few who did not want to work Pahatar being a similar case. Tinker though started to see the young dragon differently when she one night approached her asking if she would take her as an apprentice. Tinker was not in need of apprentice and she didn’t like how the younger dragon implied she was getting old. She was also able to sense the youngling’s will to rise to power and Tinker felt like the wildclaw might cause problems later.

Pahatar didn’t suggest taking apprentice again. Instead she started to study dreams with Glenn, something which Tinker found a bit weird Pahatar not striking her as research type of dragon. Tinker didn’t want to disturb researchers but she did keep an eye on them and though Glenn seemed to have good intentions with their studies Pahatar seemed to have other motives. Glenn’s assistant had stepped down and though Glenn was fine with that Pahatar was not. Tinker saw the wildclaw demand the assistant take her place back and she pressured Glenn to take new one, both very suspicious.

Pahatar's plan seemed to have gone halt and Tinker didn’t worry about it for time being. However, one night Itameri asked to talk with her Tinker preparing for bad news. He said he had had a vision where the clan fell to a deep sleep and was being controlled by an evil being Tinker connecting that to Pahatar. That though was not the worst part of the vision as according to Itameri the evil being would be driven away by a strong shadow, the same he had seen just before the summoning incident. According to Itameri nothing bad came from that but linking the shadow to Shadow Tinker had hard time believing him. He though said his visions could not be prevented and Tinker left feeling nervous.

Soon after that Silence came to bring some good news. According to her she and Yannis had managed to track down Glade and take him down. He should no longer pose a threat to the clan. Tinker had hard time believing the old mirror without evidence but she knew she knew how to kill, and when Yannis arrived to the clan with his bounty Tinker got her proof. She though could not relax Itameri’s prophecy haunting her as she waited it to happen.

Things were calm after Glade’s defeat. Tinker was waiting for Pahatar to act and eventually one day she felt a spell cast on the lair. Tinker rose from her bed as soon as she felt that waiting to feel its effect. She didn't feel much, except being very tired due to having slept poorly lately, and she made her way to Morgana to see if she could wake her up. Judging by Itameri the clan would be cast asleep by a spell and that seemed to be the case. No matter how she tried Morgana didn't wake up, neither did Alfa or Obsidius.

Tinker was about make her way out when she met with Ayla. The shadow ambassador had used shadow diving to get to Tinker unnoticed she telling that Halti had told her to get out of the lair and find a way to stop Pahatar while he bought them some time. She and Ayla got out using one of clan’s evacuation tunnels and made their way to eastern defense sector hoping the fairies would keep them safe. Tina, having also avoided the spell, joined them soon after.

The three ladies tried to figure out how they would free the clan. They did not know the strength of their opponent but they assumed it wasn’t as bad as last time. As they were trying to find a solution Silence scared them she having been hunting when the spell was cast. Tinker explained their situation and she went to gather some information saying it was basically four versus four. The mirror suggested they just ambushed the group they having chance at doing so and since no one else had any better ideas, or could not come up with better within time limit, they decided to do that.

The four dragons had separated their plan being to attack from different directions Tinker having hidden to shadows as she waited Silence’s scream. Eventually the mirror attacked aiming straight to Pahatar but was blocked by Lydia. The remaining dragons turned around and faced with Tina Suometar taking her on while the remaining ones walked straight to Tinker who revealed herself while Ayla approached from behind.

There was no need for words Pahatar starting to shoot magic at Tinker as soon as she realized she was cornered. Ayla took her opponent down easily and came to help Tinker the two shadow dragons struggling to hit the teleporting dragon. Tinker had not slept well in some time and she started to get tired very soon but she refused to back down. Her legs screamed for mercy when Pahatar suddenly fell Tinker following the magic streak to Shadow. At that moment she basically forgot the wildclaw letting her ran away as she moved to stare the two summoners.

She asked what the two were doing in the lair both dragons staying silent. The clan started to wake up Tinker keeping her eyes on the intruders waiting for dragons to get out. After enough dragons had arrived Tinker repeated her question Sapny saying they wanted to atone the clan not accepting that. Someone in the crowd, Tinker nor caring who, asked what good had the summoners done Sapny saying they had helped to seal Glade Tinker turning her attention the mirror closest to the summoners asking if that was true. Silence took her time, very unlike her, and eventually answered telling the other two could prove that Tinker wondering why she had not said that earlier.

Shadow begged for mercy but Tinker had none to give and eventually the two left saying they would be within the ruins if the clan decided to change their mind. After they left clan’s authority came to Tinker asking what had happened she giving the shortest summary she could. They were unsure what to do most thinking the summoners were a huge risk for the clan. Alfa thought they should wait and see what they did, because taking actions against them would be dangerous, while Itameri said they would not pose a threat. Nova said that if they did nothing to them they should at least inform the Observatory about their return that being his job. After that Tinker told Morgana to calm down the lair while she went to sleep.

Traits

Tinker is a shadow ridgeback with dark brown iridescent body, blue shimmering wings and white circuits as if painted over her body. Her legs and arms are black like the borders of her wings and she has gilded claws as are claws on her wings. Though being a shadow dragon she has transparent eye spots on her wings with glowing centers that emit light both directions turning off when she goes to sleep during which they are dark purple. She has small nose and chin as well as claws but the spines between her shoulders are long. She has long and thin tail almost like a whip and she tends to slash it when getting irritated. She though rarely uses it to hit anyone other than occasional passive aggressive notations. Her eyes are common purple.

Tinker is a leader and likes to show that off. She has pale crown with three spikes in front and roundhorns on the sides being decorated by single sepia rose on both sides. She has brown and gilded chasuble covering her neck, hip and back being decorated by blue gems that have been hanged to her wings too by a chain and under that she has blue sparkling cloak slightly shredded during the summoning incident. She also has golden jewelry with blue gems decorating her tail, legs, arms and neck as necklace. The jewels on her arms and legs may emit blue smoke though that is rarely seen. Reason for that is that the smoke usually appears to aid her with using shadow magic with which she isn’t that great and she rarely uses her element and even more rarely around other dragons.

Tinker is known to be unyielding, sure and strict dragon who doesn't ask but answers. She has dark, deep, strong and somewhat cold voice but under right circumstances it can be very caring and warm though wanting to show her authority that rarely happens. She has smooth Arabian accent.

Tinker is a strict lady seeing order as foundation for functional clan. She is authoritative and wanting to make sure others know that she comes across as confident, sure and even emotionally cold. She demands everyone in the clan contributes something for greater good respecting hard workers but looking down those who don’t. Her trust is hard to get and if one doesn’t right away strike her as hardworking or intelligent it is hard to make her see one in different light. She has great memory and is very eager to remember all the negative actions individual might have done and remind them about their past time to time. It takes a lot of time to prove her that someone has actually bettered themselves. Tinker likes having authority and does what she can to keep that but she also believes in democratic ways as a counter for getting corrupted with power. She doesn’t like being opposed but is able to hold her anger and doesn't get aggressive when things don’t go as she wishes.

Though very strict and near emotionless dragon Tinker has her soft side. She is usually acting as authority to her clan mates standing above them but time to time she lowers herself to the level of normal resident. She can show genuine care, worry and compassion and may even join games ”lower” dragons have. She though is very exact of for who she shows her soft side and she avoid being seen doing commoner’s stuff around dragons she sees as unworthy and especially around her peers. She feels like that contrasts with the image she is holding up and fears coming up as a bit of hypocrite if she was caught relaxing instead of working which she demands from others.

Tinker doesn’t have a companion seeing herself as too busy to have a pet to look after. She also sees familiars and other companions as inferior to dragons but she doesn’t actually looks them down. She just feels they are not worth of her time.

As shadow dragon Tinker has natural abilities of shadow walking, meaning she can be invisible when in shadows, and mind reading. She though hasn’t really practiced with them and needs amulets to help with them. With shadow walking she is decent being totally hidden when doing that but she can’t perform advanced version of it, shadow diving, meaning though being invisible she can be walked into. With mind reading Tinker’s skills are a mixed pack. She can sense if someone is lying or being truthful but she is unable to see details. Also not having practiced with the gift her own beliefs can alter what she senses and knowing that she doesn’t trust her gift most of the time. Because of that she actually uses it quite rarely preferring to trust her instincts instead.

Shadow and light dragons are naturally near immune to any mind altering spells being that memory altering or out right mind controlling. Tinker is very resistant to both of them though not fully immune and is able to sense if someone is trying to put that kind of spell on her. She can also sense that kind of spells casted on someone else though that isn’t as easily noticed as spells tried to cast on her. She usually needs to use mind reading and logical thinking to see those spells on someone.
