Biography
Naga
Uh-oh, it looks like this poor thing found herself confused and lost!
If ever you feel the need to exalt, she'd really appreciate it if you could just return her to Strukla (#90706), or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here. |

My mind is a barren place, clouded in fog. I have no idea how I got here nor where I come from. Do I have a family? And if I do, are they still alive? I scratch my skin with my claws while absentmindedly spinning these thoughts through my mind, day in, day out. I try my best to concentrate on something, to find something to do, but I don't know where to start. Perhaps whatever made me forget myself... did so because it was necessary. I fidget with the beads on my necklace in an effort to stop myself from scratching. Unfortunately it only works sometimes. |

Naga's Journal
Entry Number One:
While lost in my train of thought once again, a young boy stumbled upon me. I felt anxious upon being discovered by him (although I wasn't doing much hiding anyway as I was sitting in the middle of an open field). He pointed out that I'd get sunburnt if I stayed here much longer and walked me over to a spring surrounded by the shade of various different trees. I didn't even notice how hot my skin had gotten from sitting in the sun for so long.
Unfortunately, he noticed all of the scratches on my skin and didn't seem pleased. How strange, for him to worry about a complete stranger. I felt anxious once again, but he was nice and kind. I felt slightly guilty for not acting friendlier towards him, but I guess that's something I need to work on in the future. At least I got to know myself a little bit more.
Upon departing, I wished him all the best and that he finds the answers he seeks. He wished me the same, and said that while he cannot pray for me, he'll find someone who can, if that'll help any.
I... kind of feel like I'll miss him.
Entry Number Two:
It was time for me to go somewhere. Anywhere, really.
I found myself wandering for a while, alone in the world. Or so it seemed. I'd hear an occasional rustle in the bushes, but nothing ever crossed into my line of sight.
I happened upon a clan known as the Crow Callers, where I met an odd looking dragon by the name of ChalkMoss! After a few days, I decided to tell him my tale of "woe"... and he seemed to sympathize quite a bit. It was odd, connecting with this stranger.
After many days, I lost count of how many, ChalkMoss and I had a nest of three eggs. And the entire time we waited for them to hatch, I pondered the question: Was I suited to be a parent? Honestly, I don't know the answer to that. And I didn't stick around long enough to find out; as soon as the eggs hatched, I left under the cover of darkness. I'm worried that I might have come off as insensitive.... I am sorry about leaving him to take care of them on his own, but he has entire clan to help support him. He'll be alright with them. I'm almost positive.
Entry Number Three:
My tale of woe continues.
I'm not sure how long I was wandering around the barren Plague Lands... and I didn't even notice that everything had begun to grow a shade more... purple. This must be Shadow. I'm not sure what's going on anymore. I can't recall if I've been to this area before or not. It's like my brain is... scrambled. I find myself fidgeting with my necklace beads more and more. I'm just so confused.
I've found refuge in a small bramble bush. It was a tight fit, but I made it into the hole without acquiring any more scratches. Getting out of this will be a trick and a half though. And I am very much not looking forward to it. An odd looking storm has rolled in, and it looks like I took cover at the perfect time. The rain falling from it happens to be a deep purple color, and I've never seen anything like it before, at least I don't think I have. It's got a certain beauty to it... hauntingly, is the word I think I want for this peculiar rain. It made my eyes grow heavy, and suddenly, I'm falling fast asleep.
