Yajiro

The masked prince. That's what they liked to call him. He hated the name and always had. He was born into the royal family, the eldest son of the king. Ever since he was little he had been protected and forced to stay safe. This meant he couldn't do anything outside the palace walls. His parents allowed him to have no friends out of fear that they would betray him or hurt him on accident. Then one day when he was finally allowed out into the gardens he was attacked. A rogue dragon came from the skies with a dagger in hand. But everyone was ready for this. The guards that were constantly by his side made quick work of the assassin. That day had changed everything for the male. He wasn't allowed to leave the inside of the palace walls unless he was touring the city with his family. Even then he was forced to wear a red mask so that no one would no his true identity. It was horrible everywhere he went dragons talked about him. Some called him a coward while some felt sorry for him. No one knew his true story until he met her. She was his light in the darkness. She found a way to see past the mask that hid him and find the pure heart that was underneath. She changed everything for him and helped him back into the light that he had been trapped from for so long.
