 B I O G R A P H Y
"We will always remember who we are, and our songs will transcend history." When it comes to expressing oneself, none do it better than the flowing Skydancer known as Vivatune. When it came to deciding who to lead the House of Ballads, none were more eager and ready for the position than her, whom other dragons knew that she would be the best fit for the position. She insists on the other members not calling her "Queen Vivatune" but that hasn't always worked out. The members of her House often refer to her by a completely different name, the most common one being "The Flowing Siren." While she doesn't necessarily exhibit the natural traits and personality of one, it isn't hard to see why. Her movements and dances to music are elaborate, smooth, and impressive. It's even mentioned that the runes that adorn her scales are actually a part of a completely different song; Vivatune has rebuked this theory on several occasions, reminding her students to focus. After all, she knows that another could reach her level of prominence on the stage. Some also theorize that her Bubble Nymph helps her out as well. The fact that she has taught it to dance and play with its orb in unique ways supports this idea, though it could just be that the Nymph took such a liking to the Skydancer that it's trying to model her in what ways it can. Whatever the case is between the dragon and its familiar, the two definitely have a close bond with each other. Dragons wonder why Vivatune, with all her attractiveness and style, doesn't bother to find a mate or similar. There's the bit of her past that lingers on her, and she sometimes mourns the fact that she can't be with her family back at the Sea of a Thousand Currents. It was her choice to leave when she was young, yes. But the thought lingers. Luckily her love for music and the comfort of her Bubble Nymph keep her off that thought for a long time, although those closest to her have heard her weeping and singing a song for the ones she left behind. |
