Pardus was the runt of the litter, and everyone made sure he knew. Born frail and with a coat as pale as freshly fallen snow, he was eventually cast out by his father who thought he was “cursed” and “bad luck”. But Pardus survived. Despite his conspicuously colored coat he became an adept hunter though his true passion is wood carving. His experience with his birth tribe however made him distrustful of other doom cats. When he first met Bendis and Lycus he was wary, but Bendis invited him to stay in their territory. She didn’t care about his coat color, she was more interested in his carving skills. Living the lives of hunters and gatherers, having something other than meat and plants to trade with dragons for goods they’d need would be beneficial for their small tribe. Eventually, Pardus agreed to stay.

Opposites attract, this is certainly the case with Pardus and Salju. She is as lively and outgoing as he is quiet and solitary. But he adores her, and she loves him dearly.

All the Clan’s Nekomata belong to the Wild Variant. They are reclusive and secretive and hardly ever leave their dark forests. The Nekomata roam the Shrieking Wilds, usually in pairs, and are very fierce and protective of their territory. Nevertheless, they regard themselves as members of the Clan, sworn to the Forgotten Sanctuary’s leaders Fahlyn and Antafes. The dragon who has the most contact with them is the Beastmaster Neacal though he would hardly name himself their tamer or master. But he is undoubtedly the one they all trust most and he even has a certain amount of influence or control over them.

Currently, there are two mated pairs and one lone female living within the boundaries of the Forgotten Sanctuary. Their den is deep within the Shrieking Wilds, so remote that only some hunters, scouts and of course the Beastmaster know its location.
