Biography
Part of the ButterChicken ship along with Manteca, I named this little one basically just....Chicken. Mostly because he was gonna be a Tapu Koko fanderg but he wasn't the right colours in his tert and there wasn't enough of the black to pull through a shiny. I love him anyways :3
LORE NOTE: Acts as a sentry for TLoMR, but isn’t on active patrol outside it that often. Has a thing for hunks with a Capital H, especially if they know their way around a watering can. Attacks with quick precision and turns opponents strengths against themselves. He and his boyfriend work out together, and sometimes Manteca overhead presses him just because he can (yet for Pollo this is very romantic). Could Pollo beat Manteca in a straight fight? Probably.
Manteca met Pollo as a young derg in The Lair of Many References, and they grew up together. Manteca was the oldest by a month (which seems a lot, I know), but eventually a budding romance blossomed between them once they realised that they thoroughly enjoyed being in each other's company. During work hours, Manteca can be found at his flower shop. Pollo often stops by during his sentry duties to say hello and pick up his beau for a lunch date. They wear rings on their claws to signify their partnership, Pearl for Pollo, Lapis Lazuli for Manteca! Both of them dote on Erato, though the young skydancer is often busy trying to deal with her surrogate mother, Proserpina’s, interference.
Every so often one of them will mate with a surrogate mother and produce offspring, many of which will set off out into the world to make someone's life just that extra bit happier. The Lair of Many References keeps a catalogue of their kids in their indiviual bios for all to see. Who knows how far their lineage will stretch?
