His history has finally been revealed!
Castle Residents:
- The Lord of the Castle
- Opulus (untrustworthy scoundrel)

- Garnet (and Travis)
- Travis' shell (tentative secret)

- Gaelin (Currently travelling to take care of two others who aren't allowed to live in the castle)

Travis' Shell
Something was not right. He could sense it. Something had gone terribly wrong within the castle. Immediately, he sought out the disturbance...and it led him to Travis. Travis was a fairly normal dragon he had allowed to reside within the castle walls. But now, when he looked at him...his eyes were empty. A meaningless, relaxed smile was on his face. He was a body with no soul. And where was his pearl?
Dread filled the castle lord. "What have you done?"
Through a bit of investigation, he found out. Travis had traded his pearl and his memories to the Ravenghast in exchange for a wish...and, given what he knew, he had an idea of what that wish entailed. Garnet, another castle resident, had been having far fewer misfortunes around her as well. Those she interacted with didn't have any sort of spell of unluck, and Travis, himself, only seemed full of life around her.
The castle lord loosed a heavy sigh as he watched the two interact, slowly shaking his head. "Oh, Travis... I warned you that it was dangerous to stay here... The creature has taken you away, hasn't it?" He sighed again, filled with the weight of his mourning. "Foolish boy... Don't you realize that you were the last victim of Garnet's misfortune? The last, and the weightiest...which would crush her if she ever found out what you did..."
When Gaelin returned with Sandstone.

April Fool's Day 2022: "Be wary of what you awaken when you dig." This could have various meanings for him. He certainly has a past, but what could be being dug into here is his mysterious powers... Who knows? :)
