The clan has become known as the hub of Jewelry Box Fae research, but really it's just Blink. Originally a biologist, he took an interest in the phenomenon after the clan discovered Garnet, and from there the obsession only grew. He went from studying the best conditions in which to grow flowers in the harsh climate of the Tempest Spire to becoming Sornieth's leading expert on these strangely animate inanimate objects known as Jewelry Box Fae. While not a collector outright, he (and the entire clan by proxy) has adopted several of his research subjects.

Of course, due to all this, his plant research has fallen by the wayside. The clan's florists try not to mind it — they're just glad he's happy and thriving — but they do miss having him around. He's usually too busy chasing some obscure historical reference that may or may not be a Jewelry Box Fae mention to keep in touch very often, but he does try to visit from time to time.
