Salju is beautiful and graceful, and she loves to dance. Born in the cold and desolate Fortress of Ends, she always longed for warmth and company. Thus, she left her tribe when she was only a small cub. Only her snowy-white coat and ice-blue eyes always remind her that she was born far away from the hot green forests. Salju loves her new home, and unlike many doom cats enjoys the company of dragons. She is a frequent visitor of the Sanctuary’s tavern and even performs dances once in a while for an audience.

Salju’s mate is Pardus, though she had a brief fling with a cursed Moonbeast. Two of her cubs died young, and the other one inherited her father’s affliction. The loss of her two youngest pups left her heartbroken, and she still worries about her cursed daughter who left to roam the Tangled Woods.

All the Clan’s Nekomata belong to the Wild Variant. They are reclusive and secretive and hardly ever leave their dark forests. The Nekomata roam the Shrieking Wilds, usually in pairs, and are very fierce and protective of their territory. Nevertheless, they regard themselves as members of the Clan, sworn to the Forgotten Sanctuary’s leaders Fahlyn and Antafes. The dragon who has the most contact with them is the Beastmaster Neacal though he would hardly name himself their tamer or master. But he is undoubtedly the one they all trust most and he even has a certain amount of influence or control over them.

Currently, there are two mated pairs and one lone female living within the boundaries of the Forgotten Sanctuary. Their den is deep within the Shrieking Wilds, so remote that only some hunters, scouts and of course the Beastmaster know its location.
