Biography
Renegade layed down in the soft cold grass, closing his eyes in pure bliss. He loved coming out here late at night, when it was coldest, and the dew had not yet formed on the grass. He carefully plucked a flower that was near his head. He smelled it deeply, and sighed happily. It smelled of happiness and beauty, and pushed that perfume into the still air, filling Renegades small spot of bliss.
Renegade heard someone fly overhead and looked up to see Avalon flying lazily above him. He wasn't exactly supposed to be out here, so he hid next to a shrub and would stay there until she would leave. Avalon flew past his spot and he let out a sigh of relief.
The spot he hid was so wonderful that he stayed lying there for at least an hour, smelling the flowers and grass, feeling the wind go through his soft mane and delicate head feathers. He must've fallen asleep, because when he woke up, it was almost in the middle of the day.
"They must be worried as to where I am." He whispered to himself as he groggily stood up. "I should go now."
He tries to walk away, but he feels something on his spreaded wings, disallowing him to take off to his den. Renegade looked down to his heavy wing and saw there was a fat animal laying on him, sleeping soundly.
"Hello there, little fella..." He says softly to the animal. "My feathers are soft, aren't they? the perfect bed for a cold little animal such as yourself."
The animal stirred and revealed a short trunk and small tusks. A grasslands Trunker, Renegade noted that silently in his head. He picked up the sleeping form and cradled it in his long arms.
"I think I'll keep you, dearest friend."
