ABOUT - » Though his leathery hide is a bright blue that calls tropical warm oceans to mind, he does not radiate heat. If it were at all possible one might even say he expels cold air, or drops the temperature several degrees no matter where he goes. The pack ice that dots his body is much like the permafrost of the Southern Icefields - it never melts even under a blazing sun or proximity to fire. His arrival is never hailed as a good omen. Often times the Death Seekers that fly with him serve as a warning to others that the Ferryman was coming. "You have been summoned to the Court of the Tidelord." A ferryman of the exalted . . . one of the few ways dragons can get to the Keep. One of the . . . safest. The long swim to the Tidelord's domain is cold and dark. Sometimes the exalted dragon may get distracted by a glowing light, usually on the end of some large beasts mouth as a lure to weaker fish. That is part of the risk after all, survive the swim into the Father's embrace or get swallowed by a sea monster in the deep dark of the Trench. A Ferryman can help . . . if you are ready. |
