Glass

Glass was born into the light flight, where he learned from his father that the world was a harsh place. Glass was a soft and fragile boy, who had a soft spot for the hidden things in life that many other dragons missed or took for granted. He was fragile as every word said to him stuck and he couldn’t avoid thinking about it. As they were often blamed for other dragons problems due to their reflectiveness, they were called distracting as well as worse. He was bullied restlessly as a child, not only for his shine but for his personality as well, to the point that he ran away. He learned that if he covered himself completely he had an easier time functioning in the world. He became a traveling horticulturist and botanist, selling noninvasive species of plants from one domain to another where they were rare.

One day while selling he spotted Jewl, shining in the crowd. In that moment he felt as if Lightweaver had sent down light to show him that he wasn’t alone, and this girl would help to show him his purpose. That she would show him how to live without masking who he was. He stalked up behind her and asked if she had heard of Star Moss, that sparkled at night like she sparkled in the light. She turned around blushing, and caught a glimpse of him underneath his hood. She replied that she hadn’t, but she would love to see them sometime. Glass tugged his hood and offered to meet her here tonight so she could see them in all of their glory.

They met up that night,and they quickly became good friends. Jewl told him about her idea, and he joined her as she looked for a place where they could live. Everyday he spent with her he learned more about himself , and others, then he ever had before. During their journey they found others like themselves and they all made their civilization in a large cave system in a mountain on the edge of Dragonhome and the Tangled Wood, where Star Moss grew rampant.







"W-why, hello. Aren't you dressed quite frightfully...." He studied you for a moment. "How odd...."

"Glass! This is when you give them the stuff I showed you!" A voice yelled from inside.

"Oh, yes, Right." He clumsily grabs some goodies with his short arms and plops them into your basket. "Have a happy.... Oh ..... well have a frightful Evening i suppose...."

"Happy Halloween!" The voice calls again.

"Oh, yes, Quite." He said as a smile bloomed across his face. "Have a Happy Halloween!"

"Glass dear, don't you dare put that cloak back on."

"But I feel naked, this isn't enough clothing......."
He slowly tries to slip his cloak on.

"Well it's too much clothing for me, if you feel naked put on more holiday stuff. And leave that cloak alone you here me?"

"....Yes, Jewl love......"
