Growing up with the Shadow flight was an interesting experience. And her deep love of jokes and games came form this upbringing. But she always felt like she didn't belong. She wanted to figure out how things worked and why things did what they did. A passion for science that the Shadow flight was not able to nourish.

So when she turned of age she said a tearful goodbye to her parents, her family and headed south where it was said that the Lightning Flight was, where she could learn and create without any barriers.

It was a long, hard couple of weeks flying through unfamiliar territory before she crossed into the desert. Once there Claywind landed and took stock, she was here at the edge of the Lightning Flights territory...Now what. In a way she hadn't thought that far ahead, all her life she new that she wanted to come here, but after she was here she didn't know what to do.

Luckily she spotted a dragon in the distance, and she flew over. As she closed in she saw it was a female Mirror lounging in the sun, and a little ways off was a cave. As she banked for landing the Mirror stood up on high alert watching.

It was here that Claywind meet her soon to be new family, after talking down Ari, she asked if she could stay with them only for a little while, Ari relented and lead here inside where she saw a large Tundra male spread out in the center of the lair's common area with bits of metal and fabric strewn across the floor and three hatchlings watching him. This was Tiko.

Before long she was part of the family, the first outsider to join the soon to be large clan. And many months after, when Ari and Tiko where no longer mates, and the clan was large and bursting at the seams she took Tiko as a mate. (Well in reality they had been eyeing each other for a long time).

Finally Claywind had found a place where she belonged, a place to call home and while she missed what she had lost, she loved what she found.
