Biography

Born too light for his dark colored family, Bregedyr struggled to come to terms with being a Night Warrior that wasn't accepted because of his too-light coloring. His brother, Slyfoot, scraped into the classification due to his dark wings. But Bregedyr couldn't scrape by. No matter how he saw his genes, he was far too light colored to be marked as a Night Warrior.

The thought upset him. He was so proud of his heritage as a Night Warrior hatchling that the thought of never being able to join them made him so very upset. He thought he was destined for greatness, only to find out that he wasn't the right fit.

Instead of wallowing in his sadness, he decided to train. He fought, long and hard and relentlessly, battling creatures some only dared to dream of battling. He managed to become the right age and the right level to be listed as a part of his family's clan.

However, he could never properly be a Night Warrior. His glittering body and shimmering wings caught the light and blinded the darker colored dragons. Discouraged, Bregedyr returned to his cave and began to think.

It was many days before he was able to come up with an answer. But come up with one he did.

If he couldn't join his family, he'd make his own! And so, the tenacious dragon began planning.

After some time, he sent a letter to the founder of his family's lineage, Pulchrior. He asked for his grandfather's blessing and received it. Thus, he decided to move forward and make his own family.

Around the same time, a little female Nocturne, also of his family tree, came into the clan. She was deemed too light for the Night Warriors, and thus was revoked to be a part of the tree. She was welcomed into the clan, and Bregedyr spoke to her, offering her the chance to become a part of the family he was trying to start.

She agreed, and together they created a family tree, welcoming dragons from the Night Warrior project that were too light to be called Night Warriors. They themselves began their own lines, producing beautiful, light colored dragons. They called their family Bródúil Caomhnóirí, meaning "proud heritage," for that's what they had. A proud, strong heritage deeply rooted in the Night Warriors.
