_______ Hydris was one of the two dragons that chose to follow Svarus when he left Ravenhome, their original home in Flamecaller territory. Hydris' reasoning, aside from being very close with both Svarus and Rose, was to find their charge. They had long since accepted the fact that their charge would not be found in the Ashfall Waste, but couldn't bring themself to leave their friends behind.

It ended up being Hydris who decided where their little group would end up settling down, after finding their charge on an island settled in the waters between the Woods and the Labyrinth; a large and beautiful natural spring, full of life but in need of a deticated caretaker. Svarus had always said that Hydris had clearly meant to be born a water dragon- it's fitting that the spring also ended up becoming the home of the island's Tidelord shrine.

Hydris and Araceli met when the pearlcatcher was set up my the spring one day, to paint. The two of them talked a little, but for the most part they simply enjoyed existing near each other. Araceli visited the spring more and more, eventually dropping the excuse of painting. Still, neither of them talk all that much, but there is a peace between them that cannot be matched. 		_______
