Vergil is odd, preferring to live high in the branches of the clan's great tree, twisted around it's many thick boughs. Rhiannon has given him leave to do as he pleases, so long as his actions do nothing to harm her charge. He is much in tune with the Gladekeeper's powers, and uses this to the clan's benefit by assisting Pellam and Rhiannon in defending it from incursions. He has also taken up the task of training the clan's tributes to the Gladekeeper before they make the journey to the Behemoth to serve their deity.

He is a particularly fierce fighter, and has taken to dipping his claws in poison before battle, assuring a painful end for any and all who deign to attempt to bring harm to his family and home. When not fighting or hiding in the high bows of the tree, he is often found with his mate, Elijah, either training or relaxing with their friends.
