Haat has a natural talent with the silver mirrors of reflection magic - the revealing of truths, the finding of lost things, and the reading of intentions. Reflection magic shows the wielder the world as it is with a certain brutal clarity, but an unwary practitioner can easily find that they have misread the mirror's message, to disastrous results. Many find they cannot handle the inherent paradox of reflection magic, but Haat's inborn affinity helps shield her from some of the worst effects - and though she is a foundling unaware of her parentage, she has the blood of uncommonly strong mages running through her veins. Despite the subtlety of the magic she wields, Haat can be blunt and impulsive with her words. She never means any harm, but she often forgets that dragons are much less adept at inferring intent than her silver mirrors are.
