Theseus
Theseus: named for the greek hero who slew the minotaur and co founded the city of Athens.

Protective | Earnest | Humble | Stern

From the moment he had been born, Theseus was told that he would become a great warrior that protects what they hold dear from the shadows, a Night Warrior. Everyone in his family is a Night Warrior, his mother Carina takes pride in her heritage and is set on captaining her own pirate crew. His brother, Caspian, has become a powerful mage despite being a bit of a showboat about it. Adamantine, his aunt, though despaired and bitter, she still loves her family and thrives as a Night Warrior.

Wishing to be just like those he looked up to growing up, Theseus set out on his own. He met with several dragons, each with their own reason for being alone, and learned something new each time. One of the times, Theseus learned of a clan that was being ravaged by invading beast clans from Sunbeam Ruins. With the festivities in the air, the clan had agreed to help house numerous dragons and as a result, became a target for a herd of centaurs. Upon hearing this, the young Coatl beat his wings fast and hard and arrived just as the sun had set. Thanks to his heritage, he blended well with the night and used this to his advantage.

The centaurs had started a night raid on the poor clan. Clearly the clan had been in the middle of repairs from the last raid. But this didn't deter them. No, rather, it caused them to fight back harder than ever. Two Imperials and a single Guardian were the foremost attackers. Though there were not many centaurs, Theseus knew that there were too many for them. Like lightning, he dived down and engaged in combat alongside the three. Together they fought and won the night. He ended up staying several days afterwards, hidden from view, just to make sure that all was safe once more.

Though Theseus came to CrestHaven, as he came to know it by, only to boast his own standing within the Night Warriors, he soon came to love it here. After witnessing how greatly all cared for one another and stuck their necks out to save one each other, Theseus decided that such a place needed to be truly protected and vowed to take that job upon himself as their sword and Champion. One can always find him perched on an isolated ledge, far above the clan, watching over them. Though sometimes, when the young dragons look up to see if he's truly there or just a story that's told, they'll see Thesus, in all his glory, firing off arrows at Harlequin.
