Biography
Uh-oh, looks like this flighty coatl wandered a little too far from his home lair and now he's off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, he'd really appreciate it if you could just return him to his home lair, to vervain, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread here. This is not necessary, but he would be very grateful!
Feel free to give Hermes gifts or breed him during his stay in your lair!

Hermes
Like the mythical messenger he's named after, Hermes is an athletic and outgoing dragon who finds himself constantly helping others to communicate and work together. Most dragons who meet him agree that there's likely never been another dragon with such a real need for the wings on his feet!
When he's not working, he's still...kind of working, or at least, working out. Hermes loves to spar in the coliseum (particularly the arena), and he's always up for tag-teams or even playing around in the training field with the local hatchlings, showing them the ropes of grinding and leveling. The best way to befriend Hermes is to show interest in the world around you and to be willing to work to make it a more harmonious place. It doesn't hurt if you're also up for a good coli run (especially if you bring the killer playlist to punch and jab along with). He's also only too eager to share trivia and anecdotes from his own well tended rose garden or his growing colony of adopted golden coa moths, both additional hobbies he sometimes finds time for as he dashes through life. |
Hermes strongly believes in community improvement, and is always volunteering himself as a go-between to help facilitate projects that help the local dragons around him. He's right in the middle of all sorts of activities such as communal gardens and farming efforts, competitive training events, hatching education promotion, and efforts to help maintain and utilize clan record keeping. Write a few sentences here about one of the projects Hermes helped out with during his stay at your lair! --- Flying as far as he could go, Hermes found himself being welcomed into the Aethrea Clan, Yminthe - the clan's current reigning monarch - having heard of his prowess in community building and training events. He had been of a greater help to Aethrea's archivist Ymrenna and their scholar, Myrreneo, even may have solved another yet of the couple's one too many disputes. The hatchlings, especially Irinna and her brother Illani, being a Night Warrior's children, almost never gave him time to rest, always asking for stories about the Coliseum, Beastclans, even the deities that watched over Sornieth. There wasn't a time where Yminthe had tried to gently tell them off, but Hermes tirelessly regaled them of such tales - that until their father called them back for bedtime. But eventually, the coatl had to leave. With the clan's blessings, and a few gifts of food that the hatchlings had saved up for him, he turned to the winds again, but with the promise that he would return someday. ~ LaSilva007 --- On a brief trip to his home clan on the border between the Tangled Woods and the Sea of a Thousand Currents, Hermes helped the Nomadic Snappers which often used the Taverbi Clan's territory as a stop-off point along their ancestral traveling routes to construct safe storage for some of their most valued items (mostly Feldspar's increasingly unwieldy mineral collection). He helped them carve holes in rock faces exposed by low tide, sealing them against the elements once the treasures were safely stored. ~ FirozTaverbi --- During his stay at World Vers. 9, Hermes graciously helped a pair of gaolers who had just awakened. He patiently taught them about life in the New Age and helped them set up a den alongside other dragons from the clan. He also aided in the hatching of two imperial dragons. Their parents were grateful and insisted that Hermes name them. ~Sekaii09 --- --- |
