Amaari

The awe-inspiring queen of the deep beyond, attuned to space and the celestial winds of the stars. Amaari came to the clan as a mentor and guide to Thornir in her earliest days, and those Thornir can not intimidate into line behave out of reverence- or perhaps fear- for her mentor. She has no mate as of yet, and breeds with whom she wills.

Rarely does Amaari make a request, spending most of her time watching the stars for portents only she can sense, but when she does, even the most unruly dragons of the clan heed her words.

Blessed with multi-faceted sight by the bounty of the elements, the resident queen’s power of fate sight has only grown stronger.




After the Bounty came silence, the eerie calm before the storm. Yes, there were rumors of war out beyond the Tangled Wood where the clan had made its haven, but the Shadowbinder would not allow such strife to reach those she protected and called her own. But the heavens, those were silent.

Yet silence sometimes speaks more than any movement of wind, and Amaari knew from long, long ago, before she came to Thornir's clan, what this portent would mean. As she stared, unending into the silence of the stars, her own scales began to shift and glitter with the pattern of the heavens above, a glittering, starry hide for one so keen on knowing the secrets of the great beyond. Still and reserved as ever, nonetheless she could not contain the eager anticipation that swept across her demeanor, noticeable to all who knew her well- Liian, Thornir, Shatterpoint and his young mate Herald.

Something was coming, or rather... someone.

A fallen comet, cold as ice, solemn and stern with the wisdom of the heavens from whence he came. His name no one knows, but in his earnest attempts to grasp the language of the terrestrial beings he finds himself among, he gave the name Star. Not entirely accurate, perhaps, but it stuck, and Amaari seems to find it amusing. in fact, she seems to find him amusing, as if she knew all along he would come, and what he would be.

They almost seem to know each other somehow, though it seems nigh impossible for that to be true.

Only time will tell what this will mean.
