Known as the Solar Phoenix or Sun Phoenix, the Dawnguard dragon's body radiates intense heat and sometimes can be seen completely engulfed in flames. Her flesh never burning, she is immune to the searing temperature of her own skin and feathers. Completely solitary, and unsocial this female flies around the clan's territory fending for herself and contributes nothing. Normally peaceful she does not seek conflict with the other clan members unless one would be foolish enough to try and attack her. The only time she will seek out another is when it is time to breed, and that is when things go terribly wrong for the male.

Where it is time to breed and she finds a suitable mate the surface of her skin cools down so they can breed. Unfortunately for the male this is only short lived. He is either burned to death or he is severely burned during breeding, and then later dies from infection caused by the burns sustained. No one is really sure what caused her to be so unique from other Dawnguard. It may be a mystery that may never be explained.
