______ Explore hatched from an egg that was found floating in the sea. Amelia was the one who brought the egg back with her after she found her mate. The egg for a long time didn't hatch and Adartha feared the hatchling inside was dead. It wasn't until Mythic got hold of the egg that a glimmer of hope was seen. The egg began to warm and shake as mythic continued his care. After a while the young pearlcatcher hatched out. It sadly was not a very good day, once Explore hatched, he kinda wobbled and knocked over a potion shelf in mythics cottage, which resulted in the young pearlcatcher not being able to age. Mythic tried to reverse the effects, but alas no hope was found.
______ It wasn't all bad though, even as an eternal hatchling explore still lives a good life. He loves curling up in mystics mane and listening to him tell stories of his past, he even loves going on adventures with the tundra to collect ingredients for his brews. after a while of exploring he came to find out that when asked where an item or place was, his skin would glow and a map would appear, leading them to where they needed to go. It was also found that the liquid he spit up could reverse ageing. It was temporary and lasted only a few years, but it was still an amazing ability none the less.
