After having my expectations shattered and being rescued by total strangers for the first time in my life, I have been staying with them. I'm not sure why I stayed. There is no treasure to steal here. No hidden knowledge or artifact to acquire. Yet I feel unwilling to leave. I'm intrigued by the behaviour of these three dragons. They're not your typical Arcanites, single-mindedly researching something, no matter the consequences. Only Teth would fit that criteria with her obsession with cooking. Barely. Curious about their past, I looked everywhere for the Lorebooks every clan should have. I was finally pointed to the soot-streaked cavern of the last Lorekeeper. Pieces of burned parchment scattered across the floor. Thick books that turned to ash on the first touch. "An accident", I was told by Crystalspawn. "Shortly before the Lorekeeper followed the call of the Arcanist." The damned left without restoring the Lorebooks! Never even made notes about the past! Now the task of unearthing the past and writing down the present has fallen to me. I'm still not sure how it came. No one asked me to do it. No one else seemed to care if there was anything written down for future generations. Maybe it's because I was the only one interested in this task. No one asked me. No one seemed to care. Maybe that's why I took this mountainload of work upon myself. Or is it because I'm simply intrigued by their unknown past? Because I want to know how this heap of unlikely and different dragons came to be? How they manage to stay together? Why I can't bring myself to just leave here? I don't know. Perhaps I will find out the reason why I took the Lorebooks under my wings during my work. Really, who knows? There are so many questions I got no answers for right now. So lets see what happens.

The island is slowly filling up. Instead of just the three dragons that helped me escape my pursuers that one day, we have aquired (for better or worse) a savage Tundra from the wilds around the Starwind Bay. I don't understand why we even helped this dragon! Normally, Teth would have given a dying dragon a fast end to later roast it over the fire. But no! This time she went and saved it! It's completely illogical behaviour!
Now the creature sits most of the day on the painted egg - a parting gift from the Gene Painter, whoever he was. So much information is missing! Who was the Gene Painter? What was his job? His name? His past? How did he manage to paint Genes on dragons? It's frustrating!

The egg was stolen! Not that it was really an egg. I assume it was just a piece of stone or coral shaped as an egg. But the dragon painted on it looked as if it could crawl into existence at every moment.
Kailea, that's what we named the meat-eating Tundra, was furious when she found out and would have run off, if Teth hadn't been near enough to grab her. She sent Crystalspawn to grab her travel cooking gear and me to make sure that everything else of value was hidden from view.
Once we were all assembled she freed Kailea and led us to follow the angry Tundra. Whatever we followed, it led us straight through the Wandering Contagion and the Zephyr Steppes to the Sea of a Thousand Currents. We wandered along the coastline from the Windswept Plateau to the Ashfall Waste and further to the Shifting Expanse, where we came upon a lone Ridgeback fishing in the Tsunami Flats while hissing at the water. It had been several days since we had started our hunt and it came as a surprise for me, when Kailea sped up and let herself fall on the Ridgeback with outstretched claws.
Wait, shouldn't we help the poor dragon and put a leash on Kailea? Perplexed I watched as Teth crept closer to better see and making comments about the Tundra's fighting style.
