It's rare that a child is already born a Zombie, and that it is alive, or rather, reanimated, but Amissa was such a child. Born blessed by Plague, unlike her mother, she wasn't just a mindless puppet. Her father, very well aware of Amissa's possibilities, made sure to provide the best training in combat, as well as in plague magic, letting his child decide which she liked more. The child, still young, simply decided to do both as long as she could.

Raised by Plaguemother's teachings, she was eager to spread the teachings to other flights, but it was impossible for a Zombie to leave these lands. Without 'Mother's blessing, they are but a corpse... Or so they thought.

Amissa overheard other dragons telling stories of meeting Zombies in outside lands, still reanimated and trying to spread Plague from inside-out. They managed to keep the blessing close to them, by keeping a Plaguestone by their side all the time. So Amissa got her hands on one and left her nest, looking for a new clan to stay in. While she was leaving, she felt sad but excited as well. She had a chance to spread the Plague but also see the new world and possibly meet new friends.

Currently residing in lands of Light, she still has some trouble adjusting to the brightness, but nonetheless, she loves the comfort of the sun on her exposed flesh.

Zombies are the most devoted children of the plague. It is said they cannot rest until the Plaguemother's dream of all-encompassing infection is realized, so they simply crawl out of their graves to continue their loyal efforts. Contrary to popular myth they are not mindless, ravening beasts whose only propulsion is hunger. Instead, they are mindless only when the Mother’s presence is absent from them, and their primary goal is to spread infection, but since obtaining food is usually secondary to this act, they do not mind indulging. They are also not adverse to the consumption of their own kind.
