In a small, shadowy cave off the outskirts of the tangled wood, a dragon sits in peace. He possesses a single candle, chanting some inaudible group of words. Occasionally he will reach over to touch the fire on the candle, and shadows would rise out from the ground, chanting alongside him. He can't help but grin. After ten minutes, everything goes quiet. He is alone again.

To put it simply, Lucian is deceptive. He was brought up from a rough family, having to hunt for his own food every day and night and lacking the support he needed from his closest family members and friends. Since then, he'd experimented with magic. His 'friends' on the other side were supportive enough of his decisions, and that was all that mattered to Lucian. Despite the sacrifices he has to give to the 'other side', he finds comfort in his journey.
