Maureen

Maureen was a scientist, who mostly specialized in studies of the local planar system and other aspects of the multiverse. She got deep into forbidden magic, and was driven insane when she accidentally saw all realities and timelines at once. Later, she died when her body was turned to crystal by the Philosopher's Stone.

Her son was able to resurrect her, though, using a combination of necromancy and technology. He brought back her soul and placed it in a robotic body. Her resurrection was able to erase her memory of all of existence, but she still remembers what it was like to feel it pressing on her and has no intention of experiencing it again. She will also occasionally receive visions, especially those of dragons somehow connected to her death.

Maureen has continued her studies, but much more cautiously now. She also has taken some battle training so that she can defend herself, her friends, and her research. Lately she's been compiling data on different timelines and trying to identify the points of divergence in history.

She serves as the ethics advisor for the Mad Scientist's Guild, and is close friends with Lucretia.
