Biography

As the Omen of Good Fortune, Tulore is one of the most easily accessible and recognizable Omens. He is often claimed to be the reason dragon researchers know of the exact existence of omens themselves. This is due mostly in part to Tulore's past.

Tulore was born a dragon hatchling just like any other, albeit from an abandoned egg. On his own he grew up in the warm, charged sands of Lightning lands. He was lucky to survive at all, but that good fortune followed him throughout his life. As he matured he used the skills he picked up fighting for survival to fight instead for glory, and as years passed became one of the original champions of the same arena Hyat now currently reigns. In the end it was never a strong defeat that ended Tulore's legacy, but simply old age. As his bones grew weary of fight he retired with one final, grand celebration. For years more he was a regular sight at the arena, as a cheerful audience member.

When it came time for Tulore to die, good fortune struck him once more with the appearance of a jeweled, spirited imperial who touched him with a single manicured claw and gifted him immortality.

Like all Omens who were dragons before they were the beings they are now, Tulore has no recollection of his previous life. Thankfully, his many triumphs and deeds were heavily recorded for a large part of his life. With his flashy looks—that he's since reclaimed since becoming an Omen—he was a fan favorite of the arena even before he was the champion. Through the accounts of those who recorded his feats he's learned of his past life. For dragons researching the Omens, he's clear proof of their existence and demonstrates one certain method of their creation.

Tulore is a confident, happy Good Omen who loves to freely bless those who ask for it, but tries to endow his influence responsibly. He still regularly attends the arena in which he was once champion, but refuses to bless fighters before their rounds as he considers it cheating. Though his blessing could certainly be capable of giving a fighter victory, in truth his influence is not so direct; while good fortune will assuredly come to those who are blessed, there's no telling how exactly that fortune will manifest.
