Tumass is the clans scribe taking notes in meetings and prof reading treaties and trade deals. They're mostly blind though because when they were looking up at the eclipse they stared to long and their eyes are now severally damaged. They use special ink the sticks up from the paper so they can feel it and make sure they're writing correctly.

On the sunrise they can be seen standing on the hill and watching the sun come up with a sad look. Its nothing but a blur for them and it fills them with sorrow. Never to see the beautiful sunrise and sunset again. Only a blur in the sky and the heat from the rays is all that they can sense from the sun
