A child of the stars. Literally. Crafted by the mere memory of the heat of a distant sun so far away no dragon on Sornieth knows its name. His body shifts with the setting sun and flickers in the moonlight as if he was a mirage over the sands. As strange and aloof as his parents, Starburst remembers little of his true home. That he remembers anything is a wonder on its own for he was born among the tremulous lands of Sornieth's deities. Still, he finds his eyes ever wandering towards the distant lights in the night sky; not because of his arcane eyes but because of his true heart that burns bright beneath the disguise.
Basically, Starbursts here is the son of my two resident aliens (and yes I mean aliens from outer space.) His parents are refugees from their home star (yes they lived on a sun not a planet; they are basically sentient balls of light that have currently bent the light around themselves to look like Sornieth dragons). There was a war and they believe they are the last of their kind until recently they decided to "create" their son Starbursts here. Its hard to explain... their species don't really have genders in the traditional sense but they do need at least two of their kinds to make another. Like I said, complicated.
Anyway, Starbursts is only a few months old but because his species are born fully grown and aware, he's already looking for answers. He was born on Sornieth but has faded memories from his parents of his true home on the faraway sun. This is why I consider him "The Young One."
