Hoard

Ornate Copper Necklace
Uh-oh, looks like this little sea sprite wandered a little too far from his home lair (Teshki), and now he's off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, he'd really appreciate it if you could just return him to the home lair, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here. This is not necessary, but he would be very grateful!

VariantLoki
The little sea sprite only passed by briefly at the FrostFire clan. After all, the fire territory was much too hot for the him to stay there for any extended period of time. He stumbled upon a clan and they allowed him to take shelter for a few days so he could regain his energy. They also stocked him up with some food and water to insure he had a safe journey. After he was well rested and well prepared for the road ahead, he set of to see what the world had in store for him.

Gyftrot
He'd nearly missed the little library built into the hillside, if it weren't for the fidgety Skydancer he'd had never went there either. Aurora invited him to stay at the library recognizing the tell-tale signs of a weary traveler and the sprite wasn't one to turn down the offer. After a few days of getting to know some of the dragons there and regaining some rest, Maritime approached him. Ceaselessly asking questions about himself since she had such a fascination with the ocean herself.
It took a grumbly Fae to get her to stop bothering him, he dragged her off and scolded her for being a nuisance. Osiris gifting a small copper necklace as an apology for her obnoxiousness, and as a send off gift. Then Aear set off again into the world.

Fabro
In hindsight, going to the Icefields may not have been the best idea. Aear was unaffected at first. It was nice being so close to water again. He showed the dragons he was staying with new fishing techniques and played with the apprentices each afternoon. But then the cold set in. First, it was just a numbness in his bones. He shrugged it off as being outside too long. By late afternoon, he was sluggish and tired. The cold had triggered a hibernation cycle. The dragons of the clan put together a care package and sent him away to warmer temperatures in hopes that it would stop the sleep from fully coming on.

GlitteryNonsense
Before the sleep set in Aear landed near a clearing. A dragon named Sydenia came up to him since she was the only one brave enough to do so. She spoke to him saying, “Hello..? Are you alright traveler? If not we will help you till you are well!”She called the others to come near and to help carry him to the nearby fire. He started to feel more awake afterwards. One of the current residents of the clan came up to Aear and asked some questions to which he replied to, “Yes I have come from a very cold place and yes I’m very friendly you don’t have to worry.”That calmed the dragon to an extent but it was good enough. Sydenia came back up to him and asked questions about how he was feeling and what not. Also about the places he has traveled since she was a fellow traveler. Aear asked, “How did you survive in that cold place even for a few days?!” Her response was,”Feathers. My wings would keep me warm while I was there. After awhile I will be returning there after but I came here to learn about the alliance between this clan and theirs.”

Zikul
Arriving in the haughty clan of Daberath, Aear couldn't help but to find the way the dragons there looked at him to be an insult. Sure, he'd heard things about the dragons of the Lightweaver, but this - this was absurd. They were eyeing him up as if he was a pest to get rid of!
"It's because you're triple basic," explained a dragon called Kaheera, "But don't worry. I have something here that might help you flounce your inner beauty a bit better - here, take these scrolls. Read them at midnight, when the moon is out. Then, take a deep breath and close your eyes hard, don't peek for at least an hour and a half. Morning after, treat yourself to a nice bath in some pond somewhere, your skin might be a bit sore - but I promise, it'll be worth it."

After the change, it didn't take long until Aear caught the attention of a fellow fae - they courted and nested, and hatched two wonderful younglings, of which one - UnholyEar - decided to follow her father on his travels.

Lirillith
Aear was pleased to find such a peaceful, well-established clan as his daughter's first host on their joint travels. It wasn't ideal -- their hosts were busily preparing for the Greenskeeper Gathering, and while any traveler who wanted was welcome to assist, there were certainly no dragons free to entertain a curious youngster with questions about Nature's ways. But there were plenty of other travelers, staying out of the way of the busy residents, and there was plenty to see and do if they sought it out themselves.

He busied himself helping the resident Fae with their share of the preparations for the Gathering - detail work on decorations, enchanting flowers and plants to stay vibrant in garlands and wreaths - and in the evenings, listened as his daughter related other travelers' stories to him. "Did you know one of the dragons here was nearly forced into a gladiator ring?" she told him one night, and another night, "That new Fae has been attacked by beastclans the last two times he tried to travel!"

He told her of his own close calls with extreme heat and cold, and the stories he'd heard from other travelers - Sornieth could be a dangerous place, especially for the smallest of dragons. "That's why I wanted you to come with me instead of setting out on your own," he said, and she dipped her fins in understanding.

He hoped that would put a halt to the restlessness she'd been radiating lately. There was a lot to be said for peacefully enjoying a festival in a sunny, balmy region.

It turned out, though, that she'd found her own way of enjoying herself; he only learned how she'd curbed her restlessness when a young guardian male came looking for him to tell him his daughter had laid two eggs. The size of one of the eggs gave him some concern, but he was quick to reassure her that his surprise wasn't some kind of disapproval. She might be young for the responsibilities of looking after hatchlings, but she was an adult, and it was her decision to make.

Grandparenthood, though, didn't come naturally to him. It felt like only yesterday that he'd been new to parenthood, and the size of his granddaughter frankly intimidated him. Fortunately she was the more docile of the two hatchlings, while the active, wild little fellow was a fae.

He threw himself into the celebration of the Greenskeeper Gathering with more enthusiasm than he normally would, mostly to give him an excuse to stay out of the way and let his daughter and her mate work out their own arrangements; he was pleased when UnholyEar told him she wanted to continue traveling with him when he departed, but he'd wanted to make sure he didn't influence her decision.
