"One’s destination is never a place, but always a new way of seeing things." ╰━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╯ Ever since she hatched, Suri has always been filled with curiosity. Her youth was filled with misadventures, bumps and scrapes gotten whilst exploring, and many, many questions. Unlike most hatchlings, however, Suri never grew out of that youthful curiosity. Once she was old enough to leave her clan, she packed her things and bid her clanmates farewell. Now she's on a quest to see every piece of Sornieth, and she's recording her adventures in her journal. Please feel free to continue her story if you would like! Uh-oh, looks like this little blue lady wandered a little too far from her home lair (Ribombee #298104), and now she's off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, she'd really appreciate it if you could just return her to the home lair, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here. This is not necessary, but she would be very grateful!  11/12/2017: Dear Journal, Finally, I'm old enough to travel on my own! Time to get out of this boring old place for good. I love my clan, but if I stay here any longer I'm going to go mad. I hope everything goes well. 11/14/2017: Dear Journal, I never imagined I'd start my adventure in the Ashfall Waste but here we are! It's so different from the sea. I wanted to see /everything/ and in my excitement I forgot to find a place to stay. I was also at the edge of the fire territory and there weren't many lairs around... But thankfully I met a really 06/11/2018: Dear Journal, I'm sorry for the lack of activity in my logs, but there has been so much to see that I didn't want to miss a single moment of it! I've explored The Viridian Labyrinth and quite frankly, got lost in the immense vegetation. So many vibrant colors and unseen flowers and creatures! Seeing The Behemoth tree up close was a real bonus. It's an indescribable feeling to see something so huge. It simply boggles the mind! I do hope you realize that I'm not currently there as I left some time ago. I'm currently somewhere in the Sea of a Thousand Currents. The dragons here are somewhat mysterious as I've not met a single one. Where could they all have gone? 06/13/2018: Dear Journal, I have found that the weather here can be quite unpredictable. Thankfully, I was able to find shelter before the weather worsened. Yesterday, I was making note of the life that exists in the shallows when I saw it. A dragon that seems to embody the sea itself. She rose from the water seemingly out of nowhere! Raelynn was her name, she said. Apparently, her clan was nearby and she was scouting the area for any possible dangers. Honestly, with her coloration, I imagine it would be easy to keep oneself hidden while doing such a task. Still, she invited me to join her clan for the night and who could refuse such an offer? I gladly went with her and joined her clan. Storytelling, dancing, and merriment ensued! It was a wonderful experience. Sadly, I have to go today, but I'm excited as to what I'll discover next. Dear Journal, I have been on the run for quite some time now. I have been intercepted by a Mirror and some accomplices, which told me that I was headed towards a land which I would likely never return from if I came by it. I was the last that they told, so by that time they figured that we were deep enough in the expanse to possibly be gone for good. Though there were small clans that came up in whatever windlight amalgamation we were traveling in, nothing was really of use to us until after months of wandering, we found the Shifting Expanse. I was never so happy to see those dragonmade lights and to hear the whirr of something that wasn't the constant wind surrounding the area! After reviewing a map of Sorineth, I figured out that we must have been stuck in some dimensional anomaly. Instead of thinking on it too long, I slunk off to my next adventure... writing this journal entry. |
