Biography
This all started when my friend and I decided to cosplay as these two- and I had to cosplay as this guy. I love this movie and Elwood was my favourite, dunno why maybe its just his general gormless manner XD
The penguin familiar is a reference to what the two affectionately called the nun (Sister Stigmata) who raised them- The penguin
Huge thanks go to Skydust for finding, scrying and dressing him <3

The Blues Brothers are an American blues and soul revivalist band which was founded in 1978 by comedy actors Dan Aykroyd and John Belushi as part of a musical sketch on Saturday Night Live. Belushi and Aykroyd, respectively in character as lead vocalist "Joliet" Jake Blues and harmonica player/vocalist Elwood Blues, fronted the band, which was composed of well-known and respected musicians. The band made its debut as the musical guest on the April 22, 1978, episode of Saturday Night Live, performing "Hey Bartender." The band began to take on a life beyond the confines of the television screen, releasing an album, Briefcase Full of Blues, in 1978, and then having a Hollywood film, The Blues Brothers, created around its characters in 1980. After the death of Belushi in 1982, the Blues Brothers have continued to perform with a rotation of guest singers and other band members. The band reformed in 1988 for a world tour and again in 1998 for a sequel to the film, Blues Brothers 2000. They make regular appearances at musical festivals worldwide. “We're on a mission from God.” -Elwood (repeated line, The Blues Brothers, 1980) Elwood has a similar personality to Jake, except he is softer-spoken, more self-consciously verbose, and slightly smarter (or at least more cognizant of reality). A master blues harp player, Elwood also is different from Jake in that he has held two jobs: at the taser factory and the butane plant. Elwood is also a genius driver, but Jake often chastises him for his overenthusiasm, calling him "Motorhead" and "Hot-rodder". Aykroyd based Elwood's personality upon Don "Mr. Downchild" Walsh of the Downchild Blues Band. Elwood was found abandoned as an infant in Elwood (a Chicago suburb) by Officer Mike Delaney, and thus was christened Elwood Delaney. He has his name tattooed across the knuckles of both hands. In 1980, Elwood had over 200 traffic violations to his name, and his license was suspended. However, this is a moot point, because the license actually expired three years earlier. NB (headcannon): Dont touch his toast Smol Anger by fallowtail Such crooked musicians, their future is bleak, Unless they stump up five grand in a week. (accurate summary and short poem by Skydust) |

"Humm," The male Imperial greets critically as he watches the smartly dressed Wildclaw enter the shop. "Welcome. Do make yourself at home." He radiates an aura of self-importance and his eyes are sharp and unkind. A chill accompanies him and a thin layer of frost coats his white fur. "My, it's rather rare a handsome fellow like you visits. Most of my customers are rather displeasing to the eye." He wipes the counter down with a white rag, adjusting his glasses with a claw. "Would you care for wine? I'm afraid it's the only beverage we have at the moment. That, and we only have macrons for sweets. The other employees that work here have been rather generous with our stock, as of late." He sounds sour and annoyed, but his movements are fluid and welcoming as he pours a glass of wine and sets a silver tray of macrons out before the Wildclaw. "Please help yourself. It seems all we have right now are macrons."
