Padura was once the Queen of this Lair back when most of the Pearlcatchers had moved on and the lair resided withing the Viridian Labyrinth. She was one of the largest dragons in the lair and her presence alone kept the peace most of the time. Rarely were there any problems between clan mates. She is very kind and patient but can lay down a firm talon if someone gets out of hand but most of the time she's simply laid back. Former King Rathan ruled along side her as her mate and helped to manage the smaller species that reside within their growing lair.

Times have changed since then though as the clan moved to the Southern Icefield. Padura willingly let the role as leader fall to Othin who later on passed it down to King Frost. Since then Padura has served as an advisor and an elder to King Frost whenever he needed someone to talk about with clan affairs. Padura is, however, not a fan of his mate - the current Queen, Soyala. Padura does what she can to stay away from her and her cold ideals for the lair.

Rathan has been wonderful and managed to find a cave deep in the side of a icy cliff face with a natural hot spring and small thriving wooded area deep within the rock with a small hole at the top to let the sun through. The mini eden helps to ease Padura's longing for the tropics of the Viridian Labyrinth. It is there she spends most of her time unless called upon and where some of the former Nature Flight clan members come to visit her when the cold gets to be too much.
