Lunar

His Ichor Nymph Protector is the whole reason this bright boy lives in a dark lair.

When he was still just an Egg, The Shadowbinder had him and a pile of other Eggs waiting for her Magic, prepairing for Shadowbinder's yearly festival. The Ichor Nymphs were very busy collecting Ichor for Shadowbinder, and one little Nymph accidentally knocked an egg off the pile. Panicing, the Nymph went after the egg as fast as she could, the Egg rolled out to the edge of the Tangle Wood, where it was picked up by a Scavenging Dragon.

The Nymph followed the Scavenger back to Night Nest Lair, and quickly saw that the lair was full of darkly-colored dragons. She knew that Shadowbinder hadn't been able to finish her work on the Egg, the baby's colors would still be very blank.

The Nymph sought to take the egg back under the cover of night, but the resident Mother of the Lair, a Guardian named Tisima, was keeping careful watch over the foundling Egg. Before the Nymph could take the egg back, it hatched, and out popped a tiny pale Guardian boy. Fearing for the baby, the Nymph rushed in and clung to the small baby.

The Nymph wasn't allowed the take the baby home, but Tisima agreed to let her stay and protect him instead. The Nymph agreed, knowing Shadowbinder would not be happy if any harm came to the baby because of this unfortunate line of events. The Nymph is still very protective of the baby, and will not let the other dragons of the lair near the hatchling. Tisima, the baby's new adoptive Mother, is the only exception.

Tisima has given the name 'Isabella' to the Nymph as a welcome to the lair. Isabella and Tisima have agreed to name him 'Lunar', for his Moon-coloring and a symbol of the Brightness in the Dark.



Now that Lunar has grown into a fine young male, he's started making a place for himself within Night Nest. His bright color is really only helpful when snow begins to fall, or fog coats the area heavily ,allowing him to blend in. For the rest of the year, he's been given some clothing to help him on his jobs.

He's also started taking an interest in becoming leader of one of the Flocks that call Night Nest home. Despite his bright coloring that would be well suited to the Aerie of Sunlight, He's working hard to find a place among the Study of Stars. Isabella the nymph is not very happy with Lunar's choice of which Flock to try and find a place in, but she's supporting him as best she can, tagging along on his jobs, nestled in the space between his wings and mostly keeping out of the way.
