Deep inside the Tangled Woods, Njall was born from an abandoned egg. With no parents and no one to take care of him he survived scavenging on dead animals and hunting insects. As he grew older, he ended up in a lot of fights for food from other Nocturnes similar to him. Every day was the same, fighting, surviving, killing. He grew bigger and stronger everyday, and was highly feared in the zone he was roaming. It quickly ended, when he saved a Nocturne lady from a devastating death. Her name was Adaliz, and she was on the brink of starving until she met Njall. At this same encounter, they were both ambushed, but survived by cooperating to fight back. The attacker had tailed Njall for almost the whole day, before he saw an opening to ambush him. This is how Njall got his scars, and ended his sinful lifestyle. The Cleaver he is wearing today, is the one that made his scars, and he took as a last trophy from his final kill.

Adaliz had a dream. This dream was of starting an own Clan far away from all the pain she had been through in the Tangled Woods. This exact dream did Njall once have, but had given up on when he thought all life was the same as the one he had experienced. The sweet Nocturne was determined to show him that it was not true. From there on they started their journey to get out of the horrible woods. On the trip, they became more than
friends and acquaintances. Starting to get feelings for each other, and wanting to start a family Njall was determined to find the perfect place for them to settle down.

On the journey, they went through The Sunbeam Ruins, and Njall did really get to know how life really was. Most dragons they met here were nice and warm to them. Even offered them space to live and settle down if they wished. Though getting offered a huge amount of space, they decided to move on as the place didn't seem perfect and wasn't what they really wanted. In the very end, they ended up in The Shifting Expanse. This was a strange place, but for some reason Njall was very fascinated by everything. He wanted to learn more. Both dragons agreed to stay, and settled down by the coast.

This is how Clan Nashashuk started.
