Eidolon is the commander of the Etherium Guard, a group of dragons who patrol the organization's boundaries, protecting it from the arcane-warped horrors that slink beneath the Starwood Strand's branches. Whenever a meteor strikes within Etherium territory, it is Eidolon's duty to dispatch the alien monstrosity that emerges. He is a put-upon, resigned, unflappable dragon constantly juggling multiple responsibilities. He has never had a vacation, and wouldn't know what to do with one if it happened to him. Other dragons enjoy pranking him in an attempt to discover whether he has a startle reflex (so far, the answer seems to be "no"). He is usually wearing battered armor and wearily spattered with the magenta ichor of whatever mutated abomination he has most recently slain.

Eidolon is the only individual within the Etherium who interacts with Management. There may be more to him than meets the eye.
