Uh-oh, looks like this blind beauty has wandered a little too far from his home lair Apose #310001, and now he's off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, he'd really appreciate it if you could just return him to the home lair, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread,here. This is not necessary, but he would be very grateful!

Apose

Cain was born as the only hatchling of his mothers first clutch, and as a surprise- he hatched looking quite beautiful and strong. Though when it had been found out that Cain was blind in both of his beautiful green eyes the clan couldn't help but grieve at the thought of such a beautiful dragon never being able to see such a beautiful world.

But despite his disability- Cain wished to travel the world; to hear and feel things that he cannot see, to experience things that one with sight might never get to experience.

And with that goal in mind, Cain set out on an adventure- wishing his parents farewell and promising that he would come back one day and tell them all about his time in all the different lairs and flights.

Navigating the land with the limitation of not having one of his key senses was difficult, but manageable. As his journey continued, he could feel the temperature around his start to rise. Sounds of hissing, rumbling, searing, and bubbling as well as smells of Sulfur and burning wood were things he could identify.

"This must be the Ashfall wastes." He concluded.

Being careful to listen and stay clear of any lava pools, he made his away through the area. Eventually, he heard the noise of other dragons off in the distance. As he made his way towards them, he heard them start to come closer, noticing him and coming to investigate. The clan that Cain happened upon was a small clan of Tundras situated at the base of the great furnace. They refereed to themselves as the "FrostFire" clan. The clan members were welcoming and highly accommodating, going so far as to dig out an oversize burrow specifically for him so he can have shelter from the rising heat. The clan was more than happy to help Cain find his way around the base camp, and even appointed one of their familiars to further help him. They understood somewhat of how it was to be without one of your senses. Tundras are not big on memory so they rely heavily on their strong sense of smell. They were even able to teach Cain a few way to identify certain Beastclan members by their scent.

While Cain was clearly capable of handling himself, one could never be too careful. They were curious about Cains adventure so far and he told them that his journey hadn't been going on for very long. He had just started, but that he wanted to travel the lands and experience something from every region of Sornieth.

Cain enjoyed his time with the strange little Tundra clan and he ended up staying with them for quite a while, becoming part of their strange little family. But, his will to continue his adventure grew ever greater and he decided that it was time to move on to the next chapter and see what the future held for him. With a heartfelt goodbye, the Frostfire clan sent Cain off with supplies, wished him safe travels, and reminded him that he could always return if he needed a place to stay.



LittleRain
When traveling around what he thought was a forest, he came across two skydancers. They invited him into their little den and he decided to stay with them for awhile. The two skydancers would recite strange words and the female always seemed to be surrounded by animals. One of the frogs that lived with the skydancers seemed to grow attached to him so they decided to gift him the frog. After staying with them and their peaceful home, the darker of the two skydancer became great friends with the blind imperial dragon.

When the imperial decided it was time to go, the darker skydancer gifted him a pink bandanna and told him he was always welcome to come back and rest here again.
