There's a ghost down in the hall
There's a ghoul upon the bed There's something in the walls There's blood up on the stairs And it's floating through the room And there's nothing I can see And I know that that's the truth Because now it's onto me The child of a strong huntress herself, Aquamarine has always been interested in hunting- almost, in fact, as interested in hunting as she is in ghosts. As she grew up it became obvious that her interests were not mutually exclusive. She devised little gadgets she claimed would help her capture ghosts, much to her clan’s bemusement. The older dragons humored her if her ghost hunting kept her occupied between hunting expeditions, but no one expected her devices to actually work. However, work her devices did, as evidenced by her new pet she brought home one day. It took the shape of a fox and she said it liked the lamp she found for it better than the original capturing device. It seemed friendly enough, so Caici allowed it (although she quietly dropped a word in Cara’s ear to investigate how in Icewarden’s name the child had managed it). As an older dragon Aqua encountered many spirits ranging from friendly to hostile, and honed her ghost capturing and defeating techniques. |
