Esmeralda is a coy young thing that can turn a pretty phrase as well as a couple of heads when she dances. She is an expert con-artist, and her lucrative method are often looked down upon in the Lair of Many References. However, when times are hard....sometimes a little slight of hand is necessary. And some pay good money for it too. She's pretty good at seducing dragons too, an invaluable skill for information gathering. Hatched during the first day of NotN 2017! I really hoped to get a lil girl as well :3 SHE'S ALSO ONE OF A KIND ON THE SITE!!! Named after the 'traveller' girl in The Hunchback of Notre Dame (or Notre-Dame De Paris in French) by Victor Hugo. I wanted to dress her in all the new apparel lol and the name kinda fitted. |
At first i wasn't really sure if I wanted to keep her, since her genes were all higgedly piggedly in the Scrying Workshop, BUT I found something that fitted in Poi/Tox and thankfully some dudes in my lair make nice kiddos with her :3 SUPER HAPPY HER TERT MATCHED HER EYES!

Esmeralda (born Agnes) is a beautiful young 'traveller' street dancer who is naturally compassionate and kind. She is the novel's female protagonist. A popular focus of the citizens' attentions, she experiences their changeable attitudes, being first adored as an entertainer, then hated as a witch, before being lauded again by Quasimodo. She is loved by both Quasimodo and Claude Frollo, but, unfortunately she falls hopelessly in love with Captain Phoebus, a handsome soldier who she believes will rightly protect her but who simply wants to seduce her. She is one of the few characters to show Quasimodo a moment of human kindness, as when she gives him water after the hunchback's flogging. She is eventually revealed to not actually be a 'traveller', but to have been kidnapped by them and replaced by the deformed Quasimodo. Frollo has her hanged before Quasimodo pushes him to his death. She is 16 years old in the novel. Many film adaptations of The Hunchback of Notre-Dame have been made, which take various degrees of liberty with the novel and the character. For example, in most films, the sex scene between Phoebus and Esmeralda is not shown as intense, if at all. In the Disney version, Esmeralda is shown to be a kind, caring, independent and witty 'traveller' who is willing to help others in need. Esmeralda's greatest wish is to see outcasts like Quasimodo and her fellow 'travellers' be accepted to society and be treated as people. (Wikipedia) |
