a plant louse that is a pest of vines.

However, this son is anything but. In fact, with Ento's assistance he keeps the lice away.
This son was found abandoned as an egg, found by Shitai during his daily hunt and scavenge. Phyllo was nearly too weak to hatch on his own, or even live once he had hatched. He was even born missing his left arm, which added a struggle of trying to hold onto his pearl.

Phazon, who has experience with robotics, along with Nova who possesses the magic needed to perfect their function, helped to create cybernetic augmentations for Phyllo to increase the strength of his physical, immune, and internal systems. As Phyllo grew up, the pair became his physicians, as the two engineers needed to maintain as well as build larger versions of his robotic arm to grow with him.

Margaux immediately fell in love with the boy, opting to adopt him within minutes of him hatching. She later taught Phyllo how to tend to her vineyard, resulting in the young dragon developing a passion for gardening.
