Born in the Mirrorlight Promenade, Angemon was certainly confused when he became conscious in a world that was neither Human nor Digital. He took some time to get his bearings and adjust to being in a different form, puzzling about his inability to digivolve or dedigivolve and the purpose of being born here. However, despite this realm being different, he soon learned that evil infects all worlds, and this one was no exception. Dedicating himself to fighting the Shade, Angemon sought out a clan that would allow him to travel the world of Sornieth, looking for where he was most needed. That clan was Clan Vagabond, and today Angemon fights with his comrades against the corruption of the Shade. Serious and persevering, Angemon doesn't really engage in idle conversation, though he will respond to it cordially enough. Though he is kind and polite to his allies, he is merciless towards those he considers enemies, and will fight fiercely to protect his friends. Currently, he is training himself to become more accustomed to fighting without a staff, since it's not always the most practical of weapons for a dragon when used at close range. As a Light dragon, Angemon has access to moves such as Blinding Slash and Blinding Bolt, as well as some healing spells. His preferred Light attack is a modified version of Blinding Slash, which involves firing a beam of light from his fist while making a punching motion at the enemy. Sadly, since Skydancer limbs are rather spindly, he has had to adapt the move to involve less actual contact and more beaming of light, but the "Hand of Fate" or "Heaven's Knuckle" is still his go-to attack in a fight. Out of battle, Angemon can be found guarding the clan, training, supervising the younger dragons, or getting dragged into trying different foods and drinks at the Prehnite Star. He is surprisingly good with children despite his comically serious air, allowing hatchlings to climb all over him and taking them out for flights or down to the water to play with his familiar, “MarineTokomon”. No matter what he is doing, Angemon is never seen without his helmet, even while bathing or sleeping. He generally keeps it low enough to obscure his eyes, though he sometimes uses tinted lenses or cloth to hide them as well. None of his clanmates have any idea how he manages to see despite this, since he doesn't seem to have any difficulty navigating or describing his surroundings. |
