The begining

Jewel awoke suddenly as if from a deep sleep. She was alone, at least she thought she was. Slowly the young Guardian pulled herself up onto her feet and surveyed the icecrusted land around her. She was met with towering spires of ice with strange creatures trapped within. Had she come from there? Looking about she saw no Guardian sized hole she would have melted out of. A voice spoke out over the whistling wind.
'You've been sleeping for a long time, not within the prison but in my lair. You may not remember it..but it is time for you to venture out and claim your own lair. To build your own clan. Our homeland is unforgiving but we are too stubborn to bow.'
The voice then chuckles as Jewel seems determined and excited to start an adventure.
'Beside you is a traveling pack to aid you in the first week or so, from there you survive own your own terms.'
Jewel looks over and indeed sees the fur bound satchel, she put it on over her shoulder and gives one last look back, "I'll return Father, with glorious stories I promise." She then heads towards the billowing snow without fear and hesitation. She will make her clan...no she will make a family.

A long Fruitful Road ahead

What a long exhausting journey she and Zephon took throughout the Icefield. Years had passed them by and she worries that her fledgling clan had fallen apart. Was Jaden ready? Did she listen to Artemis' words? After being away for so long she frets, Zephon's gentle support barely calming her nerves anymore.
As they approached the pine forest that protected the clan they were surprised to see added fortification of thorns. They must have been problems but they knew the path inside and the thorns did not change it. They pad through the silenced forest, actually surprised whenever a bird call breaks the silence. Zephon was first to once the lights, he bound ahead to see if their worse fears came true.
They had not, when both emerged from the trees they were met with dozens of dragons. A few turned and looked at them and only one stuck out among the throngs. Artemis stood from his perch with another Imperial and stood to their sides, giving each a respectful bow.
"Jewel and Zephon have returned!"
With that the tension broke and the dragons eagerly crowded the two, welcoming them and thanking them for what they have done. But Jaden was not among them, in fact Jaden was nowhere to be seen. Jewel and Zephon caste each worried glances but then a roar silences the crowd as a massive Guardian stood out from against a cave.
"Who are these two?" He asks, his voice threatening. But an all too familiar head pokes out from around him.
"Jewel! Zephon!" Cried the mirror as she bound down from the perch, rocks showered down. Dragons moved aside as she raced to meet her parents, her mentors. She leapt into their outstretched talons and they remained in an embrace, crying and calming each other down. Their daughter was still safe and commanded the respect of thirty dragons, several beastclans and allied clans. They were so proud of her, of the clan she created and were honored to be welcomed back with a place in the clan.
