Duchess is the first born child of Majesty and Princess, and as such is the next in line to take over the throne (though Majesty is probably never going to die and has no plans of giving up the throne in the foreseeable future.) Though she has been groomed to take over the throne eventually, her parents have also made it a priority that she travel the world as much as possible and decide for herself whether or not she will choose the responsibility of leading the clan.

During one such travel she decided to visit The Ashfall Waste. She'd never been to the fire clans lands before, and she hadn't planned on staying for very long, unable and unwilling to handle the heat. But while there, she met a dragon named Dionysus. She stayed longer than she'd originally planned with Dionysus showing her all of his favorite spots.

Eventually it was time for her to go home, and much to her surprise Dionysus announced he was joining her. Duchess was ecstatic, of course, and together they made their way back to Starfall Isle.
