One of the Gemini brothers. Demigod. Gave up half of his immortality to be with his mortal brother Castor after he died. They spend half the year in the Underworld (where Castor is "supposed" to be) and the other half on Mount Olympos (where Pollux is "supposed" to be). This is why their constellation is only visible one half of the year. Only visible difference between the brothers is their eye color (Pollux has - divine - yellow eyes, Castor has green eyes)
