Wishlist -- Poison, Edged (Maybe. It's just, POISON BLOOD and EDGED ELDRITCH sound like Goth sports drinks. But they'd be his genes/colors. That and SMIRCH BUBBLEGUM which just sounds like it popped all over your face. Looks like that, too.)

Edgar likes to act cool, tough, and edgy, but is more normal than he hopes others will notice. Unfortunately for him, while he was traveling through the Tangled Wood, Edgar was cursed with a splash of pink that completely ruins his projected persona. So embarrassed -- and therefore gaining even more pink to his face -- he keeps to the black mist of the Tangled Wood to try to hide his appearance. The pink also brings out his eyes.

In the Tangled Wood, Edgar came across one of the Trick Troupes that wander around there. While usually he steers clear of them, this time he decided to check it out. He never really entered it, but he did get close enough that one of the residents found him, and jovially introduced himself as Alec. The guy was prancing around, and brightly colored. Just about everything about him hurt Edgar's brain. When invited to come in and see the wonders the troupe had to offer, Edgar irritably told his fellow Nocturne that he was busy, hunched his shoulders, and tried to storm off. Alec kept nimbly getting in his way, though, and kept explaining wonder after wonder that the troupe had to offer, saying that Edgar should stay. Edgar kept refusing, though. Eventually, Alec realized how far away he'd gone from his family, and nervously kept looking back and forth between them and this stranger. He let Edgar go, and returned home.

And yet...Edgar wound up following the troupe. He was wary of these sorts of dragons -- his own curse had come from a wandering troupe's magician -- so he kept out of sight. But to Alec, Edgar made himself known. He had no idea why he did this, especially initially, but after a while, he became Alec's secret friend. Edgar never admitted it aloud, but he considered Alec to be a friend, too. And really, he was a little afraid for him, especially as he heard stories about the troupe, both the innocent versions from Alec, and the horrid versions from others. Edgar wound up forming a secret mission: to try to get Alec away from his troupe before they did something terrible to him.
