Personality
Aradia has the perfect attitude for dealing with younger clanmates. Since she’s usually the only one in The Mire or Ghostlight Ruins with them, she needs to be able to get them to listen to her and respect her. So she does this through a combination of sheer strength and a no nonsense attitude. The younger ones obey out of pure fear when they see her blue eyes flashing from underneath her skull headpiece. Outside of the coliseum, she spends her free time scavenging for more bones and other natural remains to add to her personal hoard. Aradia, while she may come off as brash and abrasive, does truly care for her clanmates and this truly shows when she’s not working. Being a very social dragon, she tends to flit from group to group, chat for a while, and then move on. It should be said that almost everyone in the clan is extremely grateful that Aradia doesn’t have the personality of a gossip.

Early Life
Growing up in a Water Clan was nice, though it did have it’s troubles. The deep blue gem on her forehead surely marked Aradia for a fate spend down under the sea, at The Spiral Keep. Waiting hand and foot on the Tidelord and bringing his prophecies back to be deciphered. A life spent swimming up and down, feeling immense pressure far stronger than her, just waiting to crush her. So, it didn’t come as a horrible fact when the pressure finally got to her, and the gem on her forehead cracked. Immediately she was forced up back to the Tsunami Flats for medical care. Aradia survived, thankfully, but it was determined that if she went back down there, she’d most likely die.

Following her recovery (a long and painful process full of migraines), Aradia was lost. She couldn’t do the one thing she was trained from hatching to do, swim in the high pressure oceans. Even if she didn’t particularly enjoy the job, it was the only thing she knew how to do. Everyone else in her clan coddled her after her accident, and whenever she went anywhere the dragon’s eyes were drawn to the cracked gem embedded in her forehead.

The only thing that helped her keep her sanity after all that coddling was dealing with the hatchlings. In the Tsunami Flats, where the baby dragons and the eggs were kept, Aradia was tasked to be eternal den mother (not something she prefered). Soon, she grew to love the little troublemakers and kept them safe.

But she couldn’t do it forever. She didn’t want to be an eternal Den Mother.

So she left. She got tired and she left. Nicked a Red Feathered Bird Skull Headdress and fit it over her head, covering up the cracked gem. No one will know her secret in her new life, and that’s perfectly fine with her.
Current
Since arriving in The Clan of the Cursed, Aradia hasn’t take off the bird skull. In fact, to keep in track with it, she added the rest of the Red Feather Bird Skull pieces to her body and added two curling horns. Now her arrival is announced by the beat of butterfly wings, the slosh of liquid, and the rustle of feathers.

Aradia, since she spent so much of her life under the sea (up until the accident), can often be seen soaring around in the sky. The only reminder she has of her days in a water flight being the Chalcedony Snipper familiar she keeps in a small pool of water she keeps a livable temperature in her den.

Her job in the clan is her favorite. The 2-at-once trainer, meaning she goes out to different venues with two charges and fights with them. At the beginning, Aradia has to do most of the work, but that suits her just fine. She doesn’t like to see her charges get hurt because too many monsters dodges her claws. The feeling of protector reminds her of being in the Tsunami Flats, when she was warming up eggs with her body heat among the actual mothers, finally being useful.

Her job gives her yet another benefit, aside from spending times with young dragons. People are scared of her, the feathers and bones give her an authoritative air, along with the scars peppering her body. No one treats her as a fragile glass dragon that could crack with the slightest rough touch. They treat her as someone to be feared.

Trivia
╭━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╮

Whenever she trains up fodder that she knows will leave the clan soon, Aradia treats them more harshly than dragons that she knows she can get used to. Sometimes, even though it isn’t her job precisely, Aradia accompanies the escort and her fodder to the Flamecaller’s launch. She’s happy they leave before they can see her cry.

Her familiar is a snapper that she got during her first time in Crystal Pools, and it’s stuck with her ever since.
