Iris

Delph sidled up to Iris, clearly hiding something from her. She looked at him curiously as he stammered and worked up to what he wanted to say. Iris sat and put on her most patient look. At that Delph melted and said "I know you don't go in for a lot of finery and all that... but I think this would look very pretty on you and I think you deserve something nice. You are always doing nice things for everyone else in the clan." At that he produced what he was hiding with a flourish.
Iris did her best to look delighted. The blue and silver were certainly very pretty, but... it was so large, was this going to even be comfortable? "Help me put them on?"
With Delph's assistance they got the shiny fin shaped jewels on properly. To Iris surprise they fit well and were indeed comfortable. She pranced over to the pond and took a look at her reflection. "Oh, Delph, they are lovely! Thank you so much!"
At that Delph felt his face turn red and he hid it by snuggling into Iris wing. "Ouch! Oops..." At that they both giggled and then ...carefully... snuggled some more.
